NSWCCC OPEN FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS - Rules
Match Conduct
The referee’s decision is final in all matches, in accordance with FIFA directives.
Games consist of 2 x 20-minute halves, with a 2-minute halftime and 3 minutes between games.
Teams must remain on the field during halftime for discussions.
The referee’s whistle controls the start and end of all matches.
Players must be ready to commence matches promptly; Coaches and Managers are expected to assist with this.
Discipline
A red card results in an automatic suspension from the next game.
Accumulation of three (3) yellow cards during the group stage results in automatic suspension from the next match.
Disputes
Disputes must be reported immediately to the referee after the game.
If unresolved, escalate the issue to Tournament Control.
The decision of the Convenor and CSNSW Sport is final on all disputes and tournament matters.
Scoring & Standings
Match Points:
Win: 3 points
Draw: 1 point
Loss: 0 points
Tiebreakers (applied in order if teams are level on points):
Goal difference
Goals scored (Goals For)
Head-to-head result (if teams have played each other)
Toss of a coin (by the Convenor)
Results
Result cards must be confirmed with both team captains and the referee after each game.
Confirmed results must be submitted to Tournament Control.
Coaches/Managers must keep score and confirm results with the referee.
In case of score disputes, raise the issue immediately after the game.
Note: There will be no scoreboard display for scores or game time
