Quick Video Guide of the 1-Button Studio

Note that you will no longer submit the Google Form! You will need to upload the videos to your own CSS Google Drive / YouTube account or move it to a USB flash drive.

The One Button Studio Control Panel

Quick Start Guide

Log in to the computer
- Username: css1btn
- Password: recording!
Make sure the OBS Software is up on the left monitor.
- If it's not, find the icon labeled OBS Studio on the control panel and press to launch it.
Check each of the top row of keys to make sure they work.
- See the key guide below for what they should do.
Press the Start button to begin the recording.
Press the same button again when you are finished.
Press the bottom right button (Video Folder) to access the recorded videos.
Transfer your videos via USB flash drive or by uploading them to your CSS Google Drive.
Lock the computer when you are finished (Windows key + L).

Key Guide

Set-up/Help Keys

These keys will help with set up and recording.

The "1-Button"

Press this button to start and stop recording.

Video Files

Press this button to open the folder with all video files. Either copy to a USB drive or upload to Google Drive

Microphone

Press this button to mute/unmute the microphone. (Green is on, red is muted.)

Timer Button

Tap any timer button to activate a timer for that time length. Timer will show a countdown, then flash when finished. Timers are set for 2, 5, and 10 minutes.

Microphone

Press this button to open the OBS Studio Software. (This makes the One Button studio run!)

View Selection Keys

These keys will determine what view will be recorded in the video.

Document Camera Button

Press this button to activate the document camera.

Webcam Only Button

Press this button to only use the webcam.

Desktop + Webcam (Top Right)

Press this button to have the webcam in the top right and also show your desktop.

Desktop + Webcam (Bottom Right)

Press this button to have the webcam in the bottom right and also show your desktop.

Desktop Only

Press this button to record your desktop without your face. (Microphone still live unless muted)

Timer Button

Tap any timer button to activate a timer for that time length. Timer will show a countdown, then flash when finished. Timers are set for 2, 5, and 10 minutes.

Press this button to record your desktop without your face. (Microphone still live unless muted)

CSS Logo Button

Press this button to make a CSS Logo animation play. Great for starting/ending a video crisply.
