The school is located in the Qingxi Borough of Taoyuan District, near a creek, hence our school’s name. We are close to the Taoyuan Sports Park, Taoyuan City Stadium, and Taoyuan County Council. Our campus is a little over 18 hectares in size, adjacent to parks, the sports park, cycling paths along the river, the municipal library, and the future North Taoyuan Sports Center. All in all, a cultural and educational community in east Taoyuan.

History
Our school was founded in 1990. In 1993, we set up a kindergarten, in 1997 we added a branch. In school year 2007 we set up a distributed learning class. From 2010 until today, as a result of ageing demographics, our school has been shrinking by about 100 students per year.
