1) 'I spy my neighbourhood, I spy my street' is a simple, fun activity to explore the street and neighbourhood around the school and see what makes it complete, and easy to get around.  This is so important for active transportation.  Game sheets are available in English or French, and participating classes are entered in a draw for a pizza lunch.  See https://www.liveablesudbury.org/i_spy

2) Classes (grade 6 and up) and student groups are invited to take part in Conversations for Change.

As COP26 wraps up, it has never been more clear that urgent action is needed to transition to a low-carbon, equitable world.  But what could that look like where we live?  Conversations for Change is an opportunity to discover community-level climate justice solutions that are already happening, and shift the conversation from fear of climate impact to the positive changes we can envision and help create in our communities.  Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury is providing a reading list of articles & videos to inspire in-class or group discussions (English and French content).
