Summary
Korlan Khalilova was born on January 18, 1976 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. At the age of 6 years old she entered K.Baiseitova the secondary special school for gifted children in violin class. In 1993 she entered the Almaty State Conservatory to the class of Professor, People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.Musakhadzhayeva. In 1996 she transferred to the P.Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (Russia, Moscow) and graduated with honors in 1999. In 2002, she entered the Assistant Internship of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory to the class of professor, People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan G.Murzabekova. In 2004 she graduated with honors. In the period 2002-2011, she was a member of the orchestra of the State Ensemble of Classical Music "Camerata of Kazakhstan".
From 2004 to the present, teacher at the Department of String Instruments. Master of Arts, Laureate of International Competitions, Artistic Director of the Violin Ensemble of the Kurmangazy KNC. In 2017, she was awarded the Badge “Excellence in Education.”
Over the years, it has produced more than 20 graduates, among them laureates of republican and international competitions: Manshina Nina, Wang Maxim, Su Chi He, Uzbekova Damilya, Kasimova Anelya, Abdrakhmanova Eldana, Ismailova Ksenia, Maulenkul Akbota, Kambar Tamiris, Sagintaeva Aiganym. As an orchestra artist, she toured the cities of France, Switzerland, England, Germany, Scotland, Italy, Jordan, Macedonia, India, Japan, Turkey, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan. Also conducts Master classes in the cities of Kazakhstan (career guidance work).
In 2022, she released a collection of works for the violin ensemble of Kazakh composers “Arman Asuy”, and also acted as editor of the violin part of the author’s collection of plays “Legends of the Great Steppes” by composer Raushan Kali. In November 2022, the Violin Ensemble of the Kurmangazy KNC was awarded the Grand Prix at the International Competition-Festival “Starry Autumn” (Moscow).
At the Department of String Instruments, she teaches the following disciplines: “Specialty, Ensemble of Violinists and Violists, Study of Orchestra Parts, Writing Dissertations.” Active assistant at cathedral events: “Musik String Festival”, concerts organized by KNC, in conducting Master classes, Curator - advisor.
Motivation for internship
My name is Korlan Khalilova, I’m the senior lecturer of the department of “String Instruments” of the Kurmangazy Kazakh national conservatory. I express my gratitude for the opportunity to participate in master classes within the framework of the international Erasmus + program for the exchange of students and teachers between our universities.
The international program is a vivid example of the transfer and exchange of experience, communication with teachers and students, and also contributes to the development of cultural exchange and friendship between Kazakhstan and Spain. The objective of the program is to exchange methodological experience with foreign colleagues, practical application of acquired knowledge, comparative and qualitative analysis of professional music education.
The goal is to introduce the best teaching methods into the educational process, determine criteria when preparing students for international competitions, as well as an objective analysis of the quality and form of education. I am sure that the acquired knowledge will benefit all of us, both students and teachers.
