Special Reservation : NCC "C" certificate holders (Air Wing cadets) have a quota of 10% in the Air Force Academy in Hyderabad.  

Direct SSB Interview: NCC 'C' certificate holders who have also participated in the Republic Day parade are  often exempted from the CDS (Combined Defence Services) written exam and are called directly for the SSB (Services Selection Board) interview for officer-level entries in the Indian Armed Forces.  

Bonus Marks: NCC 'C' certificate holders are awarded bonus marks in various recruitment exams for soldier, sailor, and airmen positions in the Indian Armed Forces, and for paramilitary forces like BSF, CISF, CRPF, and ITBP.

Job Opportunities: Some private companies, particularly those in the security sector, give preference to NCC 'C'  certificate holders.
