Literacy is a way for all of us to connect to one another and is an important part of all our lives. I would like to invite your child to a two hour block class that can help expand and develop their love of reading and writing or to encourage them if they are not in love with either...yet.  Each day we will participate in important literacy experiences, such as reading, writing, word work (spelling) and oral language skills.  These experiences will be supported by direct whole group instruction, small groups and independent learning. I look forward to connecting with your child this summer. 

The goal of ABC Soccer is to promote and develop an interest in soccer for young children. ABC Soccer will provide a training program for all youth soccer players, whatever their ability level. We will learn the fundamentals of soccer. We will work on ball trapping, passing, ball control, first touch passing, striking the ball, basic/skilled dribbling etc. We will learn the rules and regulation of the game and have small side games to work on what we practiced for the week. This is a great class to keep your children physically active during the summer break. We'll see you soon.

This class is for the students that have knowledge of the game of chess. These students need playing time against other students to learn how different people will play. We will have questions and answer time to discuss possible move choices. If students would like to play a tournament, we will set up a small tournament so each student will have an introduction to a tournament format.

Amazing Science is back after taking a year off! This class is for kids who love science and want to have fun learning about it! Investigate a wide variety of science topics through hands-on experiments, modeling, demonstrations, and student-directed activities. We will be exploring the basics of chemistry, physical forces, electrical circuits, perception, problem solving, structures, food science, and more!     

This summer students will have the opportunity to shoot a real compound bow using real arrows. Students will learn safety and maintenance of archery equipment. The class will be held inside so weather will not be an issue. We have all of the supplies for the students to use. Come and become a modern-day Robin Hood or Katniss Everdeen!

Beat Busters Hip Hop class offers beginners, intermediate and advanced HIP HOP Dance classes. Classes start with a total body warm up and light stretch. Each class time will focus on one choreography to one song. We may build on the choreography using the same song per week. Classes are for ALL levels! Come and enjoy the fun this summer! Explore the colorful world of watercolor painting and try out different techniques using unlikely mediums.

Come learn how to publish your own book as we work through the stages of the writing process. Each week we will publish a new piece of writing from a variety of genres. On Fridays, we will have a Book Tasting Around the World where we will share our books, while enjoying a snack from a different country each week. Get your passports ready because we will be flying all over the world and enjoying some yummy treats along the way!

Come cheer with a former Texas A&M cheerleader and bring out your inner cheerleader! Learn how to engage a crowd by learning cheers, chants, and sideline dances! Students will also learn motions, jumps and spirit geared for the proper age group!

Goooooood morning, summer enrichment! And welcome all creative composers! This class engages students in the triple delight of acting, radio speaking, and drawing, as students will be able to use their creativity with a given topic to create a skit to act out, host a radio show to perform, and illustrate or model pieces of artwork to showcase. Students will be able to participate in all three activities so that they may use movement to process and share knowledge, practice their fluent speaking with their finest radio voices, and sharpen their fine motor skills all through the art of creativity. Students will work in groups to collaborate, create, and compose! 2, 4, 6, 8, let's get ready to Create!

Disc golf is a perfect game for kids of all ages. Compared to other sports it’s easier to pick up and get to a functional level. Disc golf is largely a matter of technique and tactics, it's a great alternative to the many other sports  over time it becomes a fun way for everyone to be outdoors and active. My mission is to teach the basic skills and fundamentals of disc golf.  Encouraging sportsmanship, knowledge of the game, and creating a friendly competitive environment with an emphasis on learning, playing, and enjoying the sport.

Learning the basic methods of floral design, and safety while using the tools. A fun crafty class where we learn how to use household items to make something new.

Do you like to stay busy and use your hands to create and make things? Do you want to make Play-Doh? Board games and roller coasters? Then this class is for you.

During our time we will practice vocal warms up and breath control to promote good vocal habits. We will also use a guitar during this session to help with melody and vocal strengthening. After the warm ups, the kids will be able to choose songs they are comfortable singing either by themselves or with their peers. This is a fun class if your child loves to sing. We will learn tools and strategies to help your student unlock the world of reading! We will work on building a foundation in reading and writing skills in order to be more confident readers by meeting your student where they are at and building off of what they know. Based on your students needs, we will work on letter knowledge, phonics, fluency, reading comprehension, and so much more! 

Get your kids excited for math with NumberBlocks! The friendly characters from the global hit math series! Kids in this course will see how numbers really work as they build their own NumberBlocks and master new key early learning math skills through hands-on discovery and play. We will begin with a short episode of the show to lead our learning for the day, build Numberblocks, and explore through NumberBlocks games and activities! This course will be great to develop their number sense, fine tune their math skills, or expose them to what is coming next!

Are you a pet lover that wants to become an expert in all things pets? Then this course is for you! In this class, you will participate in pet-related educational activities, including books, games, crafts, guest speakers, animal interactions and more! Become a pet expert this summer during Pet-stravaganza!

**If your child has an allergy to pets, this class may not be the best option for them. There will be times when they may come in contact with different animals**

We will have daily and weekly challenges to conquer our Minecraft skills. Individually or cooperatively students will help develop whole class projects in the Minecraft world. They will be able to express their imagination in the Minecraft world by creating habitats or structures with our challenges.

Come explore science, technology, engineering, art and math stations using collaborative work to engage in problem solving that is fun and relevant to their lives and interests. Stations will be hands-on in building projects, and we will be using technology to showcase or explain your project. Join us as we discover what interests you! 

We will dive into fun activities to keep your littles engaged in science. We will work on new things daily and create some awesome experiments!
