1. Online Registration
➤ Register on the Taiwan Highway Bureau Website.
2.Safety Lecture (Required for First-Time Applicants)
➤ Attend a 120-minute traffic safety lecture before your test day.
➤ This is mandatory if this is your first time applying for any driving license in Taiwan.
3.Prepare Required Documents
🆔 ID: ARC (Alien Resident Certificate), National ID, Military ID, or a valid car driving license.
🖼️ Photos: Three recent 1-inch color photos with a plain, glossy background.
🏥 Medical Check: Must be issued by a public hospital or one approved by the Highway Bureau.
📄 Other Docs: Depending on your nationality, you may need additional documents (e.g., entry/exit permit, passport).
4.Take the Knowledge Test
➤ Before registering for the written test, you must pass the Hazard Perception Test (a short online video-based test evaluating your reaction to road dangers).
➤ The written test covers road signs, traffic rules, and safe riding practices.
5.Take the Driving Test
➤ You can register for the driving test only after passing the written test.
➤ The practical riding test includes tasks like maintaining balance, braking, turning, and avoiding obstacles.
6.Get Your License
➤ After passing both the knowledge and practical tests, your scooter license will be issued on the same day.
