Institute Coordinator: As part of the nation's commemoration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, marking 75 glorious years of India's Independence, Vigyan Prasar, under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture, and 18 other Ministries of the Government of India, organized a week-long science festival, “Vigyan Sarvatra Pujyate. at 75 locations spread all over India during February 22-28, 2022. Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College was given an opportunity to be one of the organizing partners for this event at Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. For the event. Prof. Chinmoy Ghosh was appointed as the institute coordinator.
