Welcome everyone! My name is Mr. Peterson and this is my 6th year teaching at St. Raymond School.

I'm blessed to start my day off each morning with 7th grade religion. Our focus in 7th grade religion is Jesus! We discuss, reflect, and learn how we can model our discipleship to become better followers of Jesus Christ at school, at home, and in our community.

Following 7th grade, I spend my time studying the ancient worlds with 6th grade. We study life of early hominids and learn how they grew into the civilizations we know today. From the early Sumerians to the Ancient Greeks, we learn about the many accomplishments and challenge early civilization faced.

6th grade then gets to dive into language arts with me each day as read, write, listen, and speak through classroom novels and texts, writings prompts, and grammar and vocabulary. Students will practice each day to become better readers and writers.
