Unit Two : Week Nine
This week students are continuing our unit titled "Critical Thinkers of the Future". Students are using a critical framework to develop analytical and critical thinking skills through a close examination of texts.
We are reading, analyzing, and discussing different types of texts.

Independent Reading
Students will be creating a "Book Talk" Flipgrid Video to showcase the independent reading they are doing in August and September.
After reading a book of their choice, students will create and share a short video book review that gives an overview of the book and their opinions on the text.
Specifics on what to include in the video will be posted in Google Classroom.
