Meet the Teachers

Señora Indacochea

Hola F.AVE Family! My name is Maria Indacochea, and this is my first year teaching here. I'm thrilled to be part of this amazing school.

I'm from Colombia, but I've been living here for almost 4 year. I live with my husband David and my chickens.

When I am not teaching Spanish, I like reading, working out, and traveling. I love spending time with my family, as well!

My name is Rita Mangual. I am from Ponce, Puerto Rico. I have two daughters. I have been a Spanish teacher for 18 years, and I am happy to share my culture and language with my students at F.AVE.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Hispanic Studies from the University of Puerto Rico, and a Masters os Science in Spanish Education from Nova Southeastern University.

My favorite authors are Gabriel García Márquez, Mario Vargas Llosa and Isabel Allende.
