General PE Pathway

PE 1, 2, 3 and 4

Students in PE 1 are introduced to fundamental skills, strategies, and rules associated with team sports and general physical education activities such as badminton, baseball, basketball, field hockey, flag football, lacrosse, soccer, softball, team handball and volleyball. PE 2, 3 and 4 enhance skills and strategies in team sports and general physical education activities. Additionally, students in PE 3 and 4 are provided opportunities to officiate other classes’ activities.

Physical Conditioning Pathway

Physical Conditioning and Advanced Physical Conditioning

These courses are designed to teach proper lifting and spotting techniques. Activities will include multiple lifts utilizing free weights and machine weights.

First Aid and Safety

First Aid & Safety

First Aid and Safety is a comprehensive course that covers: Ways to protect yourself against illness, injuries, natural disasters, and disease. How to save people's lives, treat injured people, save a near-drowning person, and administer First aid and CPR for infants, children, and adults. At the end of the course students will have the opportunity to become First Aid and CPR certified.
