Mr. Parker's Information

I am science teacher at Downers Grove South High School in Downers Grove, Illinois. I have earned MA's in Secondary Education and Educational Technology. I earned a BS in Biology from the University of Iowa. The success of my students is the single most important thing to me. I hope to prepare me students for their future throughout the school year. My classroom design is to use the 1:1 environment to enhance all student learning and to help develop study skills.

I have taught at Downers Grove South for 19 years and this is my 18th year teaching overall.

Outside of school I like spending time with my family, running, and vacationing.

I believe that academics, when coupled with sports and activities, are essential for character and leadership development.
