CDL Mission
Cartwright Distance Learning strives to provide a virtual classroom environment that gives Cartwright students access to a first-class education that prepares them with the skills necessary to become independent, confident, lifelong learners.

Concurrent Instruction Support
On March 15th, schools began offering in-person and distance learning instruction at the same time. This is often known as concurrent instruction. Please review the material below for support in implementing this new methodology.

Google Classroom - Learning Management
Click here to start your training on Google Classroom, the Learning Management System (LMS) for all Cartwright Distance Learning. Google Classroom will house every teacher's virtual classroom. It allows teachers to host interactive discussions, post assignments and resources and allows for simple grading and feedback.
GoGuardian - Device Management
Click here to learn more about GoGuardian, a Chromebook management tool that allows teachers to view their students screens and provide them with some basic controls over what the students is able to access and see during class time.

Common Sense Education - Digital Citizenship

Common Sense has already prepared lesson plans, activities and videos for digital citizenship in Kindergarten through 12th Grade on a number of subjects including: media balance, privacy & security, cyberbullying and others.
