MEet the Counselor

Hi! I'm Sam Bonter! As a school counselor, I work closely with families, students, and staff to foster a feeling of connection to the school and community. I teach students social skills, problem solving skills, and communication skills through classroom lessons, group counseling, and individual counseling. I provide students and families with knowledge, skills, and resources that promote social, emotional, and academic success. I work diligently to minimize any road blocks that stand between students and learning.

Outside of school, I am a mom, a military spouse, and an animal lover with 6 pets (3 dogs, 2 cats, and a bearded dragon). In my free time, I enjoy lifting weights, doing yoga, hiking, camping, pyrography (making wood-burning art), and learning (my favorite topics include: spirituality, psychology, and parenting).

I am SO happy to be here, and am looking forward to a fantastic school year.
