This conference was one of the more competitive Model United Nations Assemblies based on experience and other individual judgments. It was very well organized, due to the experienced BMUN members and committee heads. I was able to make lasting friendships whom I have kept in touch with to this day and have garnered useful connections that branch out of Colegio San Agustin-Makati, which in turn, helped me in learning tricks from exceptional people and exposing me to other individuals with such strong, yet different personalities. This was my 1st face-to-face Model United Nations, and it is safe to say that it will be a memory ingrained in my mind when I participate in events such as these.
UST Model United Nations (by Regina Balagot SY 2022-2023)
Date: March 23-25, 2023
Venue: University of Santo Tomas - Virtual Assembly
Theme: Congruency in the Formation of Education in the Post-COVID Era: Redefining and Safeguarding Inclusive Education
USTMUN 2023 was truly a memorable experience. Despite it only being my second conference, it taught me the importance of collaboration and how to effectively communicate with others despite the online modality. It was also worth noting that a majority of the participants were university students, thus making the conference feel daunting at first. However, once the conference formally started, all the fear and anxiety melted away. I was then met with a lot of valuable insights and ideas from some of the most innovative people I've ever met. Despite it only being a part of a beginner committee (Economic and Social Council), with the amount of nuanced ideas and solutions shared, the committee was able to pass a resolution that could rival that of more technical committees. Outside the nitty-gritty of the committee sessions, the other delegates were generally really fun to get along with! I made a lot of amazing friends that I still cherish today from the events that transpired in this committee session, and this experience definitely kept my drive for participating in future conferences alive.

Venue: Ateneo de Manila University and Virtual Assembly
Theme: Redefining the Role of Global Governance in Pursuit of Reforming Institutions Catered to Cohering a Fragmented 21st Century Multipolar Order
This was the first AMUN for many of us yet I would say that it is very memorable. As we all go to experience a crisis committee and participated in collaboration as a team. AMUN truly makes a mark in my MUN experience as this was my first economic council and I got to learn so much as a delegate. I was also able to meet many other delegates I know and so much more that I have made friends with.
ASSUMPTION Model United Nations (by Palak Lakhani SY 2022-2023)
Date: March 17-19, 2023
Venue: Assumption College Makati
Award: Honorable Mention - Franz Pascua
Theme: Rising to The Call of Our Times, Thriving as One Global Community
ACMUN was a great experience for CSA students which are considered as beginners or mere interested to experience how a MUN conference works. We were around 17 Augustinian delegates divided into different committees. The committees were the Commission on Status of Women, the Philippines' EDSA Revolution (Historical Committee), After the Snap: Infinity War (Crisis Committee) and the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice. As a beginner, my first MUN experience was amazing. I got to meet new people and made friends that influenced me and taught me how to be confident and determined at a MUN Conference. Overall my experience was fun and overwhelming and I would love to join more conferences in the upcoming years.
