There will be eight (8) in-class quizzes in this course, given every week besides the first week. The quizzes will be 15-30 minutes to complete, and will all be equally weighted.
Late days can only be used on assignments, not on the quizzes. However, we will only count the highest 6 grades in your overall grade. If you are unable to take a quiz due to travel or other extenuating circumstance, you may include that quiz in your dropped scores. If you would instead prefer to find an alternate method of credit/making up a missed quiz, reach out to Taylor to discuss alternatives.
Quizzes will be similar to the written questions on your assignments. The quizzes are open-note for paper (e.g. you can print out notes, etc), but no AI tools are allowed. Quizzes are individual; your answers must be your own.
Each quiz will primarily focus on the previous week's content, but may also include questions on previous topics from earlier weeks.
