There will be two (2) take-home exams in this course: one midterm (worth 10%) and one final (worth 10%). The final will be cumulative. The exams will be designed to take 60-120 minutes to complete, but you will have multiple days to complete the take-home exam. You will have the option to save your work and return to it over multiple sessions. Late days can only be used on assignments, not on the exams.
Exams will be similar to the written questions on your assignments. The exams are open-note; any course resources can be used to complete the exam. Exams are individual; your answers must be your own.
While the exam is out, we will have modified policies for office hours and the message board; we will answer clarifying or logistical questions, but will not help with specific questions on the exam or give hints.
Midterm topics may include any material covered prior to the exam; more clarification on these topics will be given closer to the exam dates. The final will be cumulative and may cover any material in the course; more clarification on these topics will be given closer to the exam dates.
