AI Meets Biology of Aging

Advancing Geroscience through AI Innovation

The “AI meets Biology of Aging” (AIMBA) virtual workshop on May 22nd (from 9am-2pm Pacific Time) will feature inspiring invited speakers who exemplify cutting-edge research at the intersection of AI and geroscience. Additionally, the event will include lightning talks by trainees and a panel discussion featuring academic and industry experts.

Please register here. Registration is free.

Submission Instructions:

We welcome abstracts on novel AI/computational approaches or applications in the basic biology of aging.  We will select abstracts for oral presentation, with 15 minutes allotted for each selected oral presentation.

Please submit abstracts (up to 500 words) here by April 30th, at 11:59pm PST.

Scope of AIMBA:

The "AI meets Biology of Aging" workshop is poised at the cutting edge of exploring how artificial intelligence (AI) can intersect with the fundamental biology of aging. This pioneering event is dedicated to unraveling the mysteries of aging through the lens of AI and machine learning technologies. By focusing on the basic biological processes of aging, the workshop seeks to illuminate the underlying mechanisms that drive aging, with an aim to extend healthspan and identify potential interventions.

The objectives of this workshop are twofold: i) to highlight the latest AI-driven research efforts that provide new insights into the biology of aging, and ii) to encourage discussions around the methodological challenges and opportunities in applying AI to decode the complexity of aging biology.

Featuring talks from renowned experts in the fields of AI, computational biology, genetics, and gerontology, the workshop will showcase innovative approaches and methodologies that leverage AI to advance our understanding of aging. Selected contributions will demonstrate cutting-edge AI techniques applied to aging research.

Targeted at a diverse audience of researchers, industry experts, and scholars interested in the convergence of AI and biological aging, the workshop promises to foster a rich exchange of ideas and collaborations. It is an essential platform for anyone committed to advancing the science of aging through the application of AI, offering insights that are likely to interest the broader scientific community engaged in aging research.
