Spring'26: CSE 639, S02
Thursdays, 3:30-4:50 NCS 220
This is a new seminar class introduced in Spring'26, open to all graduate students interested in the state of the art in Quantum Computing. We will read papers covering different aspects of quantum information and computation, such as quantum complexity, quantum algorithms, models of quantum computation, quantum cryptography, quantum logic, quantum networking, and quantum sensing.
Each student is expected to present and lead the discussion on a selected paper and any background work needed to understand it. Each student will be guided on selecting the paper to present.
Instructors: Himanshu Gupta, Omkant Pandey, Supartha Poddar, C. R. Ramakrishnan, and Nengkun Yu
Registration:
Note the section number: S02. This is the section that corresponds to the quantum computing seminar. Other sections of CSE 639 may be used for seminars in other topics.
Remote Attendance: This is an in-person class, and physical attendance is expected. In case remote attendance is necessary, we will use this Zoom link: https://stonybrook.zoom.us/j/98302463456?pwd=q3lJYdaGDoqLjltNJrmAHwLKZAkIjE.1
