Large Group is our primary meeting. We'll have worship, games, a speaker, and time after to connect every week.
Connection Groups are our small-group Bible studies. We have options for all-men and all-women Bible studies on Mondays and Tuesdays, and an option for a Co-Ed Bible study on Wednesdays.
Missions and Service Trips
During Spring Break and over the summer, we offer opportunities to go and share the love of Christ through evangelism and serving people's practical needs. We do this in a number of places and ways, from our partnership with Samaritan's Purse in the American South to our partnership with Agape in Marseille.
Retreats and Conferences
Every semester, we have at least one weekend retreat or conference for everyone to attend and grow in relationship with God and with others.
Service Opportunities
We love to serve our community and the world together. We attend Street Church in Hartford multiple times per month and we participate in Operation Christmas Child by Samaritan's Purse, amongst other occasional opportunities to serve the local community.
What to expect
Whether you are a Christian student on campus or someone exploring who Jesus is, we want you to know you're welcome at Cru. Our weekly meetings consist of announcements about upcoming events, musical worship, stories of how God has been at work in students' lives, and a message from the Bible delivered by one of the Cru staff members. If this is unfamiliar to you, don't worry - we have no expectations for you. Just show up. We are students from all walks of life and none of us have it all together. We want this to be a place where we can have honest discussions, deep relationships, and learn more about who God is and what it means to be His followers.
Cru is an interdenominational Christian organization at UConn.
Meet Our Student Leaders
Meet your 2025-2026 student leaders! These are the students that will be leading the ministries that are essential to the Cru movement, and will be planning many of the events we’ll have throughout the year. If you’re looking to get involved, a great place to start would be talking to one of these students.
All Connection Groups on their respective nights are at 7 p.m.
