Agape Portugal’s leader’s mindset was challenged through TPD and the ministry reached a critical turning point.
Pedro says that “dependence on God is the path they chose to find freedom, which enables them to fulfil His calling.”
Watch Pedro encourage your team to do the same, click here.
In March 2026 we ended the programme successfully with 22 participants in 8 teams from 6 countries across Agape Europe.
We are looking forward to starting a new cohort at the end of 2027. More details to come!

Partners are essential for the realisation of your visions and projects in your ministry. Discover the basics of Team Partner Development (TPD) together as a team and go home with your own annual TPD plan. With this know-how, you and your team can communicate more specifically and win partners for your ministry. A coach will help you to implement and apply what you have learned.
The 2-year programme includes the following:
Onboarding self-study (Gnowbe) - 10-20 hours
Monthly coaching to apply what you are learning
Online sessions (Zoom) - three times, two full workdays each
Personal and team application times in between sessions
Learning together in-person with all other teams - one week
Upon acceptance into the programme, teams decide how to cover the costs. All fees, flights, and hotel expenses for TPD costs are to be covered nationally. You will find cost details here before the application opens.

Our mission demands an increasing base of leadership to go beyond the current reality. Therefore, we must develop our leaders. Too often doing partner development has been overlooked as a viable context for growing leadership roles and responsibilities.
TPD focuses primarily on the following:
Partner Development is a people-oriented ministry
Good financial stewardship
Giving partners the opportunity for Kingdom-investment
Biblical background of partner development
Basics of general communications and partner development
Different strategies to involve financial team partners
Telling or writing attractive stories
The 6 Rights of Asking
Create and implement the Plan of Action
Attitudes, knowledge and skills grow when you are raising crowds of ministry fans who provide prayer support and financial resources. This creates a fertile ground for significant and lasting leadership development.
Our global Leadership Framework explains who leaders are and what leaders do. TPD fits into our organisation’s Leadership Framework because TPD is leadership development.
Spokesperson is only one of the roles in the Leadership Framework. Not every person has this role, but we all contribute to it. As a team we need to function as the Spokesperson for our ministry.
In the TPD Programme you will learn together with your teammates how to contribute uniquely to the role of the Spokesperson.
“Being a spokesperson is not about how well you speak, but about how much and how passionately you believe in what you are doing. If you don’t think this is the best thing you can possibly do with your life, resign and do something different.” - Paul Eshleman, founder of the JesusFilm
If a National Leadership Team wants to become financially self-sustainable, then 5 EVERYs need to be supported and promoted.
What is the connection between TPD and 5 EVERYs? ⇩⇩
Most national teams are quite well positioned for EVERY STAFF with D/MPD training and coaching.
TPD training focuses on EVERY LEADER and on EVERY TEAM.
EVERY OFFICE will grow in capacity as it supports TPD teams in their next steps.
As a ministry team integrates TPD into their regular ministry activity, then over time EVERY CITY will be reached.
A local strategy team, a national strategy team, OR a national leadership team
A team with at least 2 full-time equivalent workers
A team that has a stable ministry and healthy track record
Personal willingness and motivation to participate fully during the entire 2-year learning cycle
Basic conversational and writing English skills
Personal support at 95% and with a positive trend
