Hello! My name is Sofia and I serve in CRU (currently in Kyiv, Ukraine). To be more specific in its student ministry called "Campus Ukraine".

I have been serving the students of Ukraine for 7 years now and I believe that God will continue to use me to share His kingdom.

I believe that I'm called by God to glorify Him through Great Commission (sharing Gospel and discipleship) among students.

God has put on my heart a desire to see more changed by Him hearts of students and I want to grow youth which in the nearest future will influence its surrounders (friends, colleagues, family and church).

For two years I served in the Lviv team, and for 4 years I have been working with students in the Kyiv-South team, the next few years I will be a co-leader in the Kyiv-Center team.

Mission has been founded in 1951 in USA as "Campus Crusade for Christ" (CRU) by Bill & Vonette Bright. They started ti reach students for Christ and have decided to dedicate their whole life to this ministry. Now CRU exists in 191 countries of the world.
In Ukraine this ministry exists since 1991 and is famous as "Ukraine for Christ". Besides student ministry there are few others:

God has used and is still using our mission for changing big amount of hearts to spread His Kingdom.
At one point mine heart became one of this.
Also, God even has given me an opportunity to see as He changed few students from my university through my witnessing.

why students?
Students are those, who are on the stage of active forming of their worldview and character. Those, who are studying today, tomorrow are going to work in different structures and organizations, therefore we see a great need to give them an opportunity to start alternative way of building their lives with God.
In Ukraine there are around 966 universities in which there are around 2,5 millions of students, which is 4.8% of population of our country.
There are around 400 students and volunrteers involved in the movement of evangelism and discipleship

We work in teams.
This helps us to support each other, encourage, reach goals together, work as united mechanism - Christ's Body.
Currently there are 7 teams within Ukraine (in different parts of Ukraine) who work so that each student could hear the Good News.
This is our team in Kyiv - with these people I will be work during next years and will be serving in upcoming one.

During the year we organize a lot of local projects and a few which are all over Ukraine due to which we have an opportunity to share Gospel for a lot of people and assimilate students with christian community.

I'm looking for a team that will commit to regularly pray for fruitful work and for the Spirit to move in a mighty way in our ministry.

A great way to invest in missions is through financial giving. As a missionary, I raise support to cover my personal and ministry expenses overseas. What I love about this is giving others a chance to experience the blessing of being a part of God's Story overseas.
