Saturday Seminars

Godly Use of Technology within The Christian Life - Led by Mike Willis

Tech is everywhere. A sneaky and now realized purpose of tech is to addict you. How can we use tech for the glory of The LORD rather than being gamed by it? This seminar will work through 1 Corinthians 9:24-27, emphasize God's good design for Christian community, and speak to those who are addicted to tech or prone to addiction to tech.

Examining Your Self Talk: Sorting Through Truth and Lies - Led by Chad McGhee

We all have it and we are all affected by it, but how aware of it are you?  Distorted self-talk can be fuel for anxiety and depression. This seminar will start you down a path of becoming more aware of what self-talk is, how to be cognizant of it, and how to tease out the differences between the truth and the lies contained within it.

Gay Christianity and The Christian - Led by Cameron Hodge

This seminar will address the rise of gay Christianity in the Church. We will also address some of the major arguments against the long-held biblical views of sexuality and how a biblically-minded Christian should respond.

Finding Justice - Led by Kevin Williams

Many Christians think social justice is a distraction to the gospel and to fulfilling the great commission. Yet others believe that God and the Bible hinder justice work in society. This seminar will deal with how God's view on justice compares with the pursuit of justice in our world today. Can justice ever be found in this life or will we just have to wait for Jesus to return to make all things right?

Having A Kingdom Impact In the Marketplace  - Hosted by Don Knox with Panelists: Jonathan Allen (Allen Wealth Management), Dee Dee Clark (Triangle Visions), Matt Peedin (Keller Williams Real Estate), and Donna Fussell (Infinite 30)

In this seminar you will be able to engage with a panel of four professionals as they share and answer questions about living for Jesus and having an impact for Christ in sales, education, medicine, and wealth management, (with clients, coworkers, students, other professionals) in business, and the community.

Sunday Seminars

The Spirit Filled Life - Led by Rick Hove

The Old Testament yearned for the arrival of the Spirit and Jesus told his disciples "wait for the Spirit." In this seminar, we will learn about God the Holy Spirit.

Into the Thick of It - Led by Abby Hyde

Gospel love compels us to have conversations that matter. Come learn how asking curious and compassionate questions aids us in joining others on their spiritual journey. In this seminar, you will gain some tools to build trust through questions and make space to share your faith in an honest and inviting way.

Come Help Change the World! - Led by Michelle Allen

People everywhere long to know Christ but most don’t yet realize it. There is a battle raging for their hearts and minds. As Christians, we can love them well by helping to make connections between their longings and the love of Christ! But Christians also face a battle. What are some of the things that hinder us from sharing the gospel? In this seminar, we will explore the battles, the roadblocks, and some compelling stories of everyday  conversations God uses as He invites us to help change the world.

Standing on the Promises: Why the Bible is Trustworthy - Led by Ben McGuire

We all face problems, questions, and doubts in life. For centuries, Christians have offered the Bible as the source for answers. What is it about Scripture that gives believers such confidence? To answer that question, this seminar will explore the trustworthiness of Scripture.
