If you’re longing to get to know people and get connected within Cru, Fall Retreat is for you. Fall Retreat is a great opportunity to form some new friendships and go deeper with the friends you already have, all the while learning more about a relationship with God.
Have we mentioned fun? You never quite know what exactly you’re getting yourself into at fall retreat: late night pranks, getting tackled for a spoon, dance contests, flag football, unruly games of signs, sock wars, canoes... the adventures are limitless!

WHAT is Fall Retreat?
Fall Retreat is a weekend to connect with God and other college students. It's an opportunity to get off campus, get some fresh air outside the city, and make memories with old and new friends as you sit under teaching from God's Word.
WHO is going to be there?
College students from around the DC Metro area (University of Maryland, American University, George Washington University, Marymount University, and Salisbury University).
WHEN is it?
September 26-28, 2025
WHERE is it?
Sandy Hill Camp & Retreat Center (3380 Turkey Point Rd, North East, MD 21901) but don't worry if you don't have a car, we'll organize rides so that everyone can get there.
WHY should I go?
Before exams take over your life, it's important to get connected to a community and connect with God, no matter where you're at on your spiritual journey.
How much does it COST (includes the cost of lodging, 5 meals, great teaching, and endless fun)?
FRESHMEN: $40 with codes UMDFRESH & FIRST
First-timers (non-freshmen): $47 with codes UMDSGA & FIRST ($123 after 9/18)
All others: $99 with code UMDSGA ($175 after 9/18)
You must register by September 18th to use the discount code UMDSGA.
SCHOLARSHIPS
If you would like to attend fall retreat but do not have the financial means to do so, please feel free to apply for a scholarship. We never want money to keep someone from enjoying this amazing weekend retreat.
