As westernized as the nation of Japan is, less than 1 percent of its population (127 million) even claims to be Christian. Ministry on a Japanese campus requires much prayer, persistence, and patience in building relationships with students who need to see how the Christian life is lived out on a daily basis.
Chicago Summer Mission is a premier project with Cru. It’s both a city and beach project combined! The hope is to fully train and equip students to be leaders on their respective campuses by the end of the summer. Chicago has beaches too, and many days will be spent on those beaches talking to college students from all over the world visiting the city. The housing in Chicago is remarkable, considered some of the best housing for a Cru Summer Mission. It’s located in the South Loop, near Grant Park & the Willis (Sears) Tower. It’s safe, fun, and a perfect place to spend your summer.
