Agape Portugal’s staff live and work according to the example of Jesus, following the motto “live to serve, not just to be served”. They actively serve university students, so that every student knows somebody who follows Jesus.
A focus on helping the needy offers young people opportunities to meet the practical needs of others in their communities while acting as positive role-models.
Agape Portugal was established as a Christian association in 1975.
Receiving Needs/Desires
Short term team for projects or specific tasks:
We would like to receive short term teams in Lisbon, Porto and Évora to help us reach more students via wide outreach activities and events and expand to new campuses in those cities.
Next summer (August 2023) Lisbon hosts Catholic World Youth Day. We are anticipating 2 million youth ages 14-24 in attendance from around the world.
Long term team to serve in your country:
We would like to receive a Stint team in Porto to help serve alongside our small national team. Ideal team size would be 2 men and 2 women.
Sending Opportunities/Desires
