Italians are known for their passion and their love for life. The food, art, fashion, and language of Italy is celebrated and enjoyed around the world. The history and culture of Italy has for centuries had a far reaching impact . Italians love their rich history and their way of life, and love sharing it with others.

In a country where 71.4% of the population identifies as Catholic, faith is more of a cultural identity than an active part of many people’s  lives. Churches are found throughout the cities of Italy, but are mostly empty and have become more museums than a place to worship the living God.

Italy is home to over 1.7 million university students. Most have never heard of a God who loves them and longs to have a relationship with them.  Very few of them have ever met someone who truly follows Jesus. We are praying for the Lord to draw student’s hearts to himself and to raise up mature passionate believers who are willing to trust him with their lives and share the good news of the gospel with their fellow students. 

We currently have teams in three cities in Italy but we are hoping in the near future to be able to expand our ministry to reach new cities and universities. We are ready to welcome interns for a period of 1-2 years, as well as staff who are willing to make a longer commitment.
