About Georgia
Georgia is located in Southwestern Asia, bordering the Black Sea, between Turkey and Russia. Independence has been soured by some interethnic wars abetted by Russian efforts to control the country. The lot of most Georgians is harsh due to massive unemployment and economic setbacks. The small Protestant Church survived under Communism, but since independence there has been sustained hostility and opposition from factions in the Orthodox Church. SLM Staff in Georgia desire for students to know Christ, walking with him for a lifetime.

What are your dreams and vision for sending in within the next two years?
Although no sending is happening now, we would like to send our volunteers and student leaders to short term mission trips: projects or join local ministry during the school year. We can’t send the entire team, but we would like our students to join projects which are already happening.
