About the Czech Republic
Our team in the Czech republic is currently focused in Prague as we seek to journey alongside high school and university students that they may have an opportunity to know Christ. Through a few different strategies we are engaging with students in their natural spaces of living life and seeking to bring the truth of the Gospel into their context. Focusing on long term relationships, our team has a mindset of “playing the long game” and “discipling” not yet believers as we engage in deep friendship and address topics not only about Jesus but other important areas of life we know can be positively impacted by the Gospel.
Receiving Needs
Short term team for projects or specific tasks
Having interns for 1 to 2 years helps our team meet new contacts and continue to journey with students who have been exposed to one or two Christians previously. We desire people to come and engage in relational ministry, investing in the lives of non-yet believers and sharing the Gospel through regular interactions and intentional conversation with them.
Long term team to serve in your country
Our heart is to see Czechs reaching Czechs with the Good News of the Gospel. We feel that in order to move forward with this vision we need individuals to make up a team who are willing to commit longterm to serving and investing in Czech culture, church and language. Being able to have a team who is able to share the Gospel in the heart language to Czech university and high school students so they may grow in their understanding of who God is personally to them and then go out to share the same truth they experience with their peers.
Sending Opportunities
What sending is happening right now?
We are not currently sending Czech students to other locations for ministry. We encourage missions through the local church involvement that many youth believers have.
What are your dreams and vision for sending in within the next two years?
Realistically in the next two years we won’t have the capacity to send Czech students to other locations. Seeking to have them have a heart for their nation as they see the Czech republic as part of global missions.
