The Agape movement in Austria, called Campus für Christus Österreich, is a non-denominational mission and training movement. Focus Areas include youth, university students and athletes. They care for people and help those in need through GAiN (Global Aid Network).
The ministry has been present in Austria since 1979, when a group of people started to work with university students in Innsbruck. Agape Österreich was officially launched in the year 1989, and has grown in capacity as well as areas of service.
We help to implement the mission of Jesus Christ in a holistic and socially relevant way in our time. The team serves churches and communities in living and passing on evangelism and discipleship.

Receiving Needs/Desires
Short term team for projects or specific tasks:
Short term Outreach Teams are very welcome! We are eager to get to know more students to plug in to our ministries, also to “sow seeds”. We already have a really good partnership with Cru at UCONN (USA) who has been serving alongside us with short term teams for some years now. Even with our limited staff capacity, we are dreaming of starting groups in new cities. But Vienna is a good place to start, come and get to know the Austrian culture and the specific needs of Austrian students
Long term team to serve in your country:
We are in need of laborers, and because we are a quite small team, pioneers who are willing to stay in Austria for a long time are welcome!
Sending Opportunities/Desires
What sending is happening right now from your country? (Short term, long term, etc)
We tried out going to Zagreb for a short trip to scout and see if future projects are possible. We are partnering with GAiN and SHINE for some projects within Austria, but also in Romania.
What are your dreams and vision for sending in within the next two years?
As Vienna is a very international and strategically important city (and has been in the past), we would love to send teams for summer projects, even for semester break projects (all of February is off for most of the students) into all of Europe, wherever classes are going on in those times. Short term trips into three new cities would be wonderful.
