God is moving powerfully and making Himself known to the world. Stories continue to show what God has done to bring the least reached into His family. So many of these accounts only happen after someone has been praying for them. Prayer is vital in bringing the Gospel to the nations.
When we, as the Church, are commanded by God to pray for those around us, even those who could be considered enemies, we are commanded to to be unceasing in our prayers. This conference will be a catalyst to unify the Church in your nation by joining together Great Commission focused churches and organizations to pray for your nation.
Let this gathering be the first of regular meetings where we, as one Body, collectively lift up the nation to know Jesus. Let us be, unceasing.
The Apostle Paul challenges the Church a number of times regarding how, when, and how often to pray. One phrase he uses to describe with which we are to pray is “unceasing.” Paul uses this word to describe our prayers for one another, for the Gospel, and for those who do not yet know Jesus. This is why unceasing is the theme for this conference. By unifying those who are working to make Jesus known in your country, you will enable the Church to be unceasing in our prayers for one another and for those for whom we are working.

Wondering what this conference could look like?
Here’s an overview of the schedule and content
We will start off with some pieces to bind us together and help us know what to expect in the coming . We will, of course, want to begin by welcoming everyone and setting expectations of our time together. From here, it is natural to flow into casting the vision of this conference. Why are we gathering together in this nation? What are the hopes, dreams, and outcomes that we are asking God for from this gathering? As a continuation of the vision, we recommend that you use Ephesians 1:15-19 as a Bible passage to emphasize the need for prayer.
Lastly, we encourage you to end the evening with communion. This can feel polarizing for many and contexts, but this is part of what bonds all of us together as the Body of Christ. Try to make this fit as is most culturally appropriate but realize that it will not be possible to overcome every objection. It is our opinion that of unifying in this manner will far outweigh the church/denominational divides that may exist in your national .
Every morning of your time together should start and be grounded in the Word and should help you move into intentional prayer times throughout the day.
Our team recommends that you open Day 2 with a devotional based in the Ephesian 6:18-19 passage which emphasizes the frequency of prayer - “at all times or without ceasing/unceasing”. Really take this time to unpack what it means to pray in this manner and envision what could be if the Church in your nation bonded and worked together to see Christ made known.
On Day 3, we recommend that you connect over 1 Timothy 2:1-8. Within these verses, Paul lays out his ministry, and it all leads to him calling for all men to pray. This passage allows for a conversation about prayer and its place in seeing our neighbors meet Jesus.
In addition to the programmed prayer sessions, your participants will want to retreat into a space to pray for other pieces that are on their heart. We recommend that you create a space and an environment that is special.
Here are some ideas for how a prayer room could look and what it could involve.
A group of Christ followers who share a vision for a specific context to see the good news of Jesus spread to new people, develop themselves and other believers, as well as working together to see the development of new communities of Christ followers.
Leaving this conference, we don’t want to simply all go our separate ways. We want to leave as one body spreading throughout the nation to continue to pray for and engage our neighbors so that they may know Jesus. We want to continue by gathering regularly, whether over the internet, by phone, or over coffee, and pray for the nation. Together, we can accomplish the Great Commission. Together, we can truly be unceasing in our prayers for this nation.
