Q. How many high school students work with the children?
A. Generally there are 2 high school classes working with the children (one class at a time). Each class usually consists of 18-20 students. The students are assigned to different jobs and responsibilities each day, thus not all students are directly involved with the children at one time.
Q. What items do the preschoolers need to bring to school?
A. We request that on the first day the child bring a ziplock bag, (marked with the child's name), containing a complete change of clothing: shirt, pants, underwear & socks. This is kept in school for the duration of the program in case of any unforeseen accidents which necessitate a change. Children may also bring a backpack for transporting papers and personal belongings, but it is not really necessary. Please refrain from bringing in toys from home, as they may become damaged, lost, or not make it back home in one piece.
Q. What should my child wear to school?
A. We request that children wear comfortable shoes and clothes that you would not mind getting paint or craft supplies on.
