Reading Horizons
Reading Horizons is a "science of reading program" which uses explicit, sequential, direct, and multi-sensory instruction, ability- and age-appropriate materials, and engaging and data-driven software, to help students have the tools and support they need to build reading confidence.
Below is a summary of the units that will be covered in the program throughout the school year.
Social Studies & Science
Mystery Science lead engaging, open-and-go lessons with step-by-step, hands-on activities that explore scientific phenomena using common classroom items.
Scholastic News is a current, cross-curricular nonfiction program of articles and videos which help elementary students discover and explore the world. Included are engaging texts, skill-building activities, videos, audio, and more excitement for science, social studies, and reading.
