Hello Churchville families! My name is Lisa Weiss and I am your librarian. :) This will be my 31st year in Council Rock and my third year as the district coordinator for the library department. I taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade right here at Churchville, before becoming the librarian at Wrightstown Elementary and now here for the last 9 years! Of course, I love reading, but I also love music, exercising, going to the beach (and reading on the beach!), and being with friends and family. I live in Newtown with my family. My husband Marc went to Council Rock (back when there was only 1 high school!) and my kids both have graduated from North. My son went to Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI to study culinary entrepreneurship! He actually already has his own restaurant and food truck! My daughter is a senior at Champlain College in Vermont and is studying to be an elementary teacher. We have an adorable cat named Gigi and a (slightly less adorable) cockatiel named Gracie. (No, she doesn't really talk, but has been known to say "hi little birdie" and makes the same beeps as our microwave...) Language arts has always been my passion, and I am excited to share my love of reading, writing and research with all of you in library!
