Jazz Bands are in full swing and the “sit down” bands are gearing up for our Holiday Gala concert in December. Take a look at some of the new things happening below:
This week is an A week for lessons. Please see the attached schedule.
Our winter fruit / meat / cheese fundraiser starts this week. We have packets available for in person orders for the kids on the table in the band hallway. Here is the link for online ordering. Sale end date is 11/18. Delivery will be the first weekend in December.

We are officially in “sit down” band season. Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band and Concert Band are all rehearsing separately. We will be putting a challenge system into play during the month of November. We will provide the students with instructions on how to challenge up in their section and potentially into a higher group.
Just a reminder - band is a full year (two semester) course. Students are encouraged to finish this semester as well as next semester. If they choose drop, they are encouraged to discuss their decision with Ms Fleer or Mrs. Williamson for next steps.
Please plan to join us for an evening of holiday music on Dec 8th. Get your tickets early….both shows traditionally sell out.
