Huge congratulations to members of Jazz One on their 4th place finish at the
Iowa Jazz Championships. They have worked tirelessly this season and came
out 4th out of a competitive pool of 15 4A bands. Job well done!!
Congratulations to all of the participants in the Kennedy Solo and Ensemble Festival. Everyone performed extremely well and received some great comments. Many of these students will be participating in the State Solo Festival at Jefferson on Saturday. The in school lesson folks will begin their performances in class this week. Please see the schedule below:
This week is a B week for lessons. You should have at least 6 in attendance.
Jazz Two and Jazz Lab rehearsals will resume next week in preparation for Java and Jazz in May.
For those interested in a section leader position next year, please complete the attached application and return to the band directors this week.
