Thank you all for the time, energy, and courage you brought to auditions. This process is never easy, and we truly appreciate your commitment.
Cast lists for 2025–2026 are now posted for the following groups:
Happiness, Inc. (partial)
Concert Choir
Kennedy Chorale (partial)
Kennedy Singers
Chamber Choir
Moonlight Express
Protege (partial)

1. Some placements are still pending.
Due to unusual enrollment numbers for next year, some final group decisions won’t be made until classes begin in August. This affects several students across multiple groups. More students will be added, definitely to Protege and possibly to Happiness, once we have full enrollment information and can make informed decisions.
2. Show choir placement for incoming 9th-grade boys is still undecided.
We are currently unsure how many incoming boys are interested in show choir. Until we have a clearer picture, we are holding off on final casting decisions for those students. This means:
Protege may be either a mixed or all-girls group next year.
Some 9th grade boys may be added to Happiness. I will send out an email to 9th grade boys who auditioned for show choir with Happiness information so they can start thinking about whether or not that would be a good fit for them.
We’ll revisit casting as soon as we can, potentially early this summer, but for sure as school begins in August. We will contact students directly if placements change.
3. We are considering options with Eclipse, our second jazz group. It may be cast in August or that class may turn into another type of choir. Stay tuned!

HAPPINESS
If your name is on the Happiness list, DO THESE THINGS IMMEDIATELY:
1) Accept your spot. Fill out the acceptance form by clicking HERE. This is due Tuesday, May 27th. No form, no spot.
2) Join the Remind group. If you didn't sign up for Remind when you submitted the above form, do it now. This is a test of your ability to follow directions. If you run into problems, contact me.
3) Put this on your calendar. Tuesday, June 3rd at 3:00pm is our annual organizational meeting and will take no more than an hour. You will need a device (chromebook, phone, etc...).
4) Block these dates: August 22 and 23. This is your first choreography session. Randy will likely teach two full numbers. Missing it is a big deal and will likely result in you being a swing on one or both of the taught numbers. You should schedule your summer around these dates if at all possible. A full year schedule will be available to you soon in a Google calendar. We will also have a group team building night on August 21st starting at 6pm.
PROTEGE
The Protege list is NOT COMPLETE. Today's list is only a partial list. We will finish the casting process after school begins in August.
If you have been cast in Protege, you need to officially accept your spot. You do that by filling out the form you can find by clicking HERE. Please do this as soon as possible, no later than Tuesday, May 27th.
There are no summer activities for Protege.
MOONLIGHT EXPRESS
Moonlight members will receive an email in mid-July with music and learning tracks to a song in their competition set for next year. Members will be expected to come to the first rehearsal in August with the chart learned. Members who come unprepared will be released.
Lastly, we try very hard to release 100% accurate lists, however mistakes do happen. When we make a mistake, all we can do is apologize and fix the error. If you auditioned and don't find your name on any list, that could be an error on our part, or perhaps you didn't complete the audition process. It is also possible that you didn't indicate on your audtion form that you would accept a spot in the group you qualified for. If you believe there is an error, contact Mr. Ziegler or Mrs. Brunson.
