Different Pathways After High School

Santa Rosa Junior College

Not only is the JC a great way to get you where you are headed, but you can also take JC classes while attending THS. Once you do your first 2 years of college at the JC you can transfer to any college and finish your college education OR you can get your 2 year Career Technical Education and start working right away in the career you choose.

CSU

You may choose to go to one of the 23 California State Universities right out of high school or transferring in after attending the JC for 2 years.

UC

You may choose to attend one of the 9 University of California Campuses right out of high school or you can transfer in after attending the JC for 2 years.

College Entrance Exams

PSAT

The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) and PSAT 10 measure what you're learning in school, determine if you're on track, and open doors for opportunities to prepare and pay for college.

SAT

The SAT is the college entrance exam and stands for Scholastic Assessment Test. It is meant to show schools how prepared you are for college as well as provides colleges on common data point to be able to compare all of their applicants.

ACT

The ACT known as the American College Test. This college preparedness entrance exam has a science test included and is more focused on the STEM student.
