The world of scholarship searching is a big one. There are a few things to be said about searching, identifying, finding and applying for scholarships:
Be careful, you should NEVER pay to apply for a scholarship. There are a lot of great opportunities for students and their families, but there are also a lot of scams, so if it looks questionable, do not fill it out.
We will consistently post scholarships that we receive in our office on the website. However, do not rely solely on this list, as there are numerous scholarships that we do not post. Continue to research on your own and utililze the links we post to outside scholarship databases.
Local scholarships can be for smaller amounts, but realize that you often have a better chance at being selected for them than you may with regional and national scholarships. Our local list of scholarships will be updated throughout the year to reflect accurate dates and application information.
