Information for the April 10th, 24th and May 15th TSI test:

1. Please drop them off at the front doors of NCHS (10-12 campus) at 8:30 am. If they arrive late, they will not be able to test.

2. Have them dress in layers. Temperatures in classrooms can vary and we want your student to be comfortable.

3. If they have a school-issued computer/device, please have them bring it. We only have limited number of extra computers.

4. When they walk into the front door, they will check in with Mr. Bristow. He will guide them on where to report for testing.

The test should last about 2-4 hours depending on the student. It is untimed. We will have them text you afterwards if they are needing a ride home.

May 4th- Algebra 1

May 5th- Biology

May 6th- US History

The Junior SAT day test will be on March 24th at NCHS. It will take 6 to 8 weeks for the results of this test.

Dear NCHS AP Parents and Students,

Below are the testing instructions for both Administration 1 and Administration 3 testers. Due to the pandemic College Board has allowed us to provide multiple testing options. Students were allowed to choose their testing window. If they chose Administration 3, they were allowed to choose to test online at school or online at home. Please visit with your student to verify their testing administration and be sure to read the announcement for their particular exam administration and note report times and/or start times.

ALL NCHS Administration 1 : AP Exams to Be Given at North Crowley High School

Administration 1: May 3rd-17th

North Crowley will be giving all 2021 Administration 1 AP Exams at North Crowley High School. This includes North Crowley 9th grade campus students. Please see the 2021 AP Exam schedule at the bottom of this message. Students who have elected to take their exams during Admin 1 (May 3rd- May 17th) will report to NCHS to take their in-person, paper/pencil exam(s) in person. We will be spacing students to be in compliance with all COVID protocols. The tests will be given primarily in Gym 3 and the surrounding area. Please report directly to this area on testing day through the doors from the cafeteria or the outside doors from the student parking lot. Students MUST take their Spanish Language and Music Theory exams in this administration window!

Morning Exams:

All students taking morning exams are required to be at NCHS Gym 3 by 7:40 a.m. SHARP on test day. We cannot seat students arriving late per College Board policy. If students are late, they may not be able to re-test.

Afternoon Exams:

Students taking afternoon exams will need to report to NCHS Gym 3 at 11:40 OR IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING 3rd period. Students should be a bag lunch and/or snacks. We will also have snacks available for students. If students need a bag lunch from the school, please e-mail me. We cannot seat students arriving late per College Board policy. If students are late, they may not be able to re-test.

ADMINISTRATION 3 June 1-11

NCHS Administration 3: AP Exams are to Be Given Online at Home or Online at North Crowley High School

IMPORTANT NOTES:

THIS PERTAINS ONLY TO STUDENTS WHO HAVE CHOSEN TO TAKE THEIR AP EXAM ONLINE DURING ADMINISTRATION 3 WINDOW. The Administration 3 window is June 1-11. WE MUST WORK TO ENSURE THAT YOUR STUDENT HAS ACCESS TO THE COLLEGE BOARD DIGITAL TESTING APP ON THEIR COMPUTER/CHROMEBOOK/LAPTOP. THEY CANNOT TEST WITHOUT THIS APP.

IMMEDIATE INSTRUCTIONS:

We do have some immediate action that you/your student will need to take. We need to ensure that ALL Administration 3 testers get the College Board app installed on the laptop or Chromebook that they will be using to take the exam. (They are working on this in their AP classes as well.) Students are welcome to take this exam on a school-issued device or their own personal device.

Just as they had to do for STAAR testing, students will have to log out of their computer, click on the apps button in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen and it should be there to click on. In the attached picture, it is the bottom option with the VERY long domain name at the very bottom of the list. See attached picture image.

Here are some potential issues we may face:

1. For our virtual students with the old PC laptops with Windows or some versions of the Chromebooks, they don’t update remotely. Therefore, students must physically be on campus with the devices turned on to receive any updates. They can’t get those updates from home. If you are facing this issue, please go to the form at the bottom of the page and sign up for help!

2. If students use a home computer or personal computer, they can directly upload the app by clicking here:

We have created this help sheet to work with you to ensure that you have the application required to access your AP exam June 1-11. Please know that if you are having issues with this and are virtual you will likely need to schedule an appointment to come to school during school hours to get your device fixed/update.

Administration 3: June 1-11th

Students who have elected to take their exams ONLINE AT HOME will stay home and we will mark their attendance as excused for the day. Students who are taking their Admin 3 exams ONLINE AT SCHOOL will need to report to NCHS. The tests will be given primarily in Gym 3 and the Gym area. So please report directly to this area through the cafeteria doors on testing day. For morning exams please be in this area by 10:43 or immediately after 2nd period for morning exams and 2:30 or immediately after 6th period for afternoon exams. If students are late, they may not be able to re-test as this is the final testing window offered by College Board. Please note that the afternoon exam will not end until close to 7pm. These students will need to make arrangements for transportation.
