The Roman empire ended 2,000 years ago, they had an empire that lasted for 1000 years. The Romans most popular sport was to fight to the death/battle to entertain the king. How it worked: two slaves must fight to the poo with 50,000 spectators and the king in the stadium.

Dalton Parlours is located about 7 miles away from Wetherby. It's a very important historic artefact; it's one of the only fully excavated historic places in Britain. All the artefacts found at Dalton Parlours were very well preserved, therefore a very important place and is well looked after!
