Our family
Being a Grandma is awesome!
Three generations of pure love
My teaching philosophy centers on guiding, facilitating, and inspiring students to be actively engaged in their own learning journey. I believe that creating an inclusive environment where diverse learners feel supported is essential for fostering student growth. By encouraging critical thinking and enthusiasm for math, I aim to equip my students with real-world skills that extend beyond the classroom. I am committed to continuously reflecting on and improving my teaching practices to better meet the needs of all students and help them reach their full potential.
I am a mother of 4 and love all of them dearly. However, the best title I have is "Grandma." I was raised on a dairy farm in central MN and have the farm-girl mentality that a hard day of work equals a great day. I enjoy reading, gardening, walking our golden lab, fishing, sewing, and spending time with family and friends.
I have been in a face-to-face classroom for 29 years teaching all areas of math grades 7-12.
