About Me

Hello! My name is Tene Brown and I will be teaching 8th-grade Social Studies! 

I am a graduate of Texas Southern University in Houston Texas. I earned my bachelor's degree with a concentration in History and am working on my History Master's. 

 I worked as a long-term substitute with CMS before I became a teacher. This will be my second year teaching. I can't express the excitement and honor of teaching at Crosby Middle School. I am passionate about history and getting to know my students is key to encouraging them towards growth!
