Dear Cromwell Public Schools Community,
I hope this message finds you enjoying a restful and joyful summer. It is truly my honor and privilege to welcome you back to a new school year!
Across all our schools, summer projects are nearing completion, and our dedicated staff is hard at work preparing to welcome students back on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. I am genuinely looking forward to seeing our incredible students, families, and staff as we begin what I know will be a tremendous 2025–2026 school year.
We are especially excited to welcome our middle school students to their nearly completed new school building. This beautiful, modern facility represents years of planning, collaboration, and community support and will serve as a tremendous asset for Cromwell. With new learning spaces designed to inspire innovation, creativity, and connection, our middle schoolers will benefit from a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) learning environment that supports both academic growth and social-emotional development.
To mark this exciting milestone, we warmly invite all families and community members to join us for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, August 26, at 4:00 PM. We hope you’ll come celebrate with us and see firsthand the incredible new space that our students will soon call home.
As a district, we remain deeply committed to providing a challenging and supportive learning environment that meets the needs of all learners. Our faculty, support staff, and administrators are united in fostering positive school environments grounded in respect, inclusion, and care. At the heart of all we do is our mission: Placing Students First. Every decision we’ve made has centered on student safety, well-being, and success, and that will continue to guide us as we move forward together.
Once available, please make sure you access the Parent Portal in PowerSchool to update all information to ensure we have the correct contact information to relay important updates and communications. Communication is a key component and is critical in ensuring a strong partnership with parents and guardians. We communicate frequently through our website (Cromwell.k12.ct.us), our Facebook page, and through emails and phone messages via our automated call system.
