Teacher Talk: Mr. Tomasino
Karissa Bishop
The teachers at CHS are figures of constant support as they strive to make the school a better place and uplift students. How much do we know about these integral members of our school community? Mr. Tomasino, a teacher in the English department, was interviewed on a few memories and opinions of his own. They know much about all of us as students, but how much do we really know about them?
Today we interview Mr. Tomasino with ten questions about his life, his career, and his mindset.
1. What was your favorite high school memory as a student?
A: It was basically my entire senior year. I had gotten my most necessary credits, so they allowed what is called an independent study. I worked with my English teacher to study all of the Shakespeare plays that we didn’t get to cover in school. Outside of that I loved all of the events, especially the pep rally. It was a huge event in my school. Everyone in my school had a lot of school pride and it was fun.
2. What has been your favorite high school memory as a teacher?
A: My favorite memory was at a pep rally in 2019. All of the teachers did a flash mob to the song “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey. It was so much fun because the students didn’t expect it. At the end everyone rushed off of the bleachers into the center of the gym. It was really, really good.
3. Why did you choose to make a career out of teaching?
A: I am the end of a long generation of teachers in my family. My mom is a teacher. Both of her sisters were teachers. A lot of my cousins are teachers. I had them as role models my entire life. It was just something I felt intuitively. I [wanted] to be up there guiding people to learn.
4. What made you choose your position as a teacher?
A: The influence from my family. Every summer I would be with my mom helping her set up her classroom before school started. She was an elementary school teacher. I knew that might not be the path for me or that position. As I got into high school myself I thought I would rather be a high school English teacher.
5. What are some hobbies that you enjoy?
A: I, first and foremost, love to travel and I take it very seriously because I really enjoy having a good time when I am exploring somewhere new. I love seeing cultural sights and exploring new places. That’s pretty high at the top of the list. I love learning new languages. I speak Spanish fluently and I am in the process of learning Portuguese.
6. What is your favorite food or dessert?
A: I love Mexican food overall. It is my favorite food. The favorite dish from Mexico that I like is a dish called Pipian which is made from pumpkin seeds. It is chicken covered in a sauce made from pumpkin seeds. It is delicious. It is really savory compared to what a lot of people think is Mexican food which is very spicy. It is hands down my favorite thing with rice and black beans. It is my favorite meal. There is a really good Mexican restaurant called Moscow. The people who work there are from southwest Mexico.
7. Do you have a favorite sport or idols for that sport?
A: I didn’t grow up in a household of football, baseball, and soccer. My father worked in drag racing when he was young. These cars go really fast on a quarter mile stretch of road. I have been going to those shows since I was a kid. My favorite athletes from that genre are John Force and Danica Patrick. They’re some of the best drivers I have seen. Also, Formula One's Lewis Hamilton - he’s a god in the sport. Everything related to sports for my family has been about cars.
8. What is your dream travel destination?
A: I really want to go to the Azors. They’re islands that belong to Portugal. They’re kind of in the middle of the Atlantic. Halfway between here and Europe, maybe a little closer to Europe. Every picture I have seen - it looks stunning, beautiful. It’s the wild Atlantic Ocean. That is my next dream destination.
9. What are some facts about yourself that not many people are aware of?
A: I found out the other day that a lot of students don’t know that I speak Spanish. Sometimes I mess with them, especially with my freshmen. They like to joke, “No hablo Ingles.” I was like, “Okay. I will teach the whole class in Spanish to you.” Then they are like, “Whoa!” Outside of that, I studied music. I play guitar, piano, jamba, and the harp a little bit. For piano and guitar, I grew up taking lessons and playing. That’s something that people might not be aware of.
10. What are some hopes and goals for this year?
A: My hopes and goals for this year are to keep reading more. I have gotten a lot of good books under my belt this year. I am part of some new book clubs. Also, just keep traveling as much as I can.
Overall, Mr. Tomasino has a great story of his inspiration behind his profession. He clearly is a teacher who is very invested in helping his students and making his class a good environment. With a lot of cultural and worldly experience, Mr. Tomasino is contributing positively to our Cromwell school environment.

Teacher Talk: Madame Cestari
Kelly McTeague
The teachers at CHS are figures of constant support as they strive to make the school a better place and uplift students. How much do we know about these integral members of our school community? Madame Cestari, a teacher in the math department, was interviewed on a few memories and opinions of her own. They know much about all of us as students, but how much do we really know about them?
1. What was your favorite High School memory as a student?
A: I don’t really have one right now. High School experience in France is not the same as in the US. My least favorite memory was that school could run until 4:30 pm, so it was long. My favorite would be the supermarket nearby that I could go to. I was able to go home, eat and come back, because there was a 2 hour break in between.
2. What was your favorite high school memory as a teacher?
A: Before COVID, I used to take students to Europe and I enjoyed getting to know them outside the classroom setting. We went to many different countries, like France, England, Spain, and Italy.
3. Why did you choose to make a career out of teaching?
A: When I came to this country, at first I wanted to be an interior designer but I wasn’t good enough at drawing, and there were other circumstances too that made it not realistic. In the end, there were opportunities for teaching, so I went for it. I never regretted it. I was meant to be a teacher.
4. What job would you have if you were not a teacher?
A: It would be in the artistic creativity field for sure.
5. What are some hobbies that you enjoy?
A: I discovered Tole(means metal/steel in French) painting when I was living in Utah for a short period of time. I have
books, wood and paints, so when I need to relax, I take out my brushes. I also enjoy
time with my family and dog, reading, traveling, walking and hiking.
6. What is your favorite food or dessert?
A: Even though I love eating different foods, I keep coming back to French food. I love tarte Tatin for dessert. Unfortunately, I am the only one eating it in my family, so I rarely make one.
I love food, and I love trying new foods that are out of the ordinary. I think each cuisine has something amazing about it.
7. Do you have a favorite sport or idols for that sport?
A: I don’t really have a favorite sport or idols. However, I was able to attend a football game in the Dallas Cowboys stadium a few years ago and it was such an incredible experience.
8. What is your dream travel destination?
A: I had 2 in the past. I always wanted to see the Grand Canyon and go to Australia. Because I lived in Utah for 4 years, I was able to see it a couple times. Australia is still on my bucket list.If I had to transport myself anywhere, it would obviously be France. It feels like home. Second to that, my dream destination is Scandinavian countries, because I’ve never been to any of them. I would also love to go to Ireland, or Japan. I love traveling. Put me in a new place to explore and I’m as happy as can be.
9. What are some facts about yourself that not many people are aware of?
A: I love food but I don’t like cooking. I lived in England as an au pair girl & went to a tourism school in Ireland.
10. What are some hopes and goals for this year?
A: Because it is my first year at Cromwell High School, I am hoping to come to class through the rest of the school year, and avoid another Covid lockdown. I do not want to go back to hybrid teaching mode again as teaching was difficult and students were not able to learn fully. My goal this year is to integrate myself as much as I can in this school as it is my first year teaching here and get to know students too.
Overall, Madame Cestari is an amazing, well-rounded, and well-experienced teacher who deeply values her job and loves her work. She has traveled and lived in various backgrounds, so she has been emerged into other cultures. She has many hobbies and interests that keep her active. But overall, her dedication to her work shows a reason to take a step back and find the time to appreciate Madame Cestari.

Teacher Talk: Ms. Polizonis
Karissa Bishop
The teachers at CHS are figures of constant support as they strive to make the school a better place and uplift students. How much do we know about these integral members of our school community? Ms. Polizonis, a teacher in the math department, was interviewed on a few memories and opinions of her own. They know much about all of us as students, but how much do we really know about them?
Today we interview Ms. Polizonis with ten questions about her life, her career, and her mindset.
1. What was your favorite High School memory as a student?
A: My favorite high school memory as a student was playing softball. I met some of my best friends through the program and really enjoyed the family atmosphere we had.
2. What was your favorite High School memory as a teacher?
A: My favorite high school memory as a teacher so far was being able to decorate the hallway and dressing up for Halloween as a math department. I enjoy bringing a lot of spirit to the school and I hope everyone liked it!
3. Why did you choose to make a career out of teaching?
A: I chose to make a career out of teaching because I love math and I love being a part of students’ lives and helping them make decisions for their futures. I especially like the challenge of helping students appreciate math more by the end of the school year than when they enter my classroom at the beginning of the year. I love the atmosphere of working in a high school, there is never a dull moment! I am not sure I would be well suited for a desk job!
4. How has COVID 19 changed your mindset and the methods that you use to teach?
A: COVID 19 has changed my mindset about school in general because at the end of the day, your physical and mental well-being is far more important than a grade on a test. I think COVID 19 taught us all that there are far more aspects in life outside of our building. Keeping this in perspective, it taught us all a lot of resiliency. Students in particular, were able to rise above extremely difficult times and made what’s best of what they had. Going off of that, this has changed the methods in what I teach because I would much rather students understand the material and truly enjoy what they are learning versus just earning straight A’s.
5. What are some hobbies that you enjoy?
A: Some hobbies that I enjoy are baking, shopping, spending time with my family/friends, going to sports games, going to the gym, and meditating.
6. What is your favorite food and dessert?
A: My favorite food is probably pizza! I almost relate every math problem to it!! My favorite dessert is probably anything with chocolate and peanut butter in it!
7. Do you have a favorite sport and idols for that sport?
A: My favorite sport is baseball. My idol has always been Derek Jeter. Besides the obvious reasons, I always loved the way he carried himself on and off the field. At the end of the day, people don’t remember how many times you struck out, made an error, or hit a homerun. People remember what kind of person and teammate you were. I think sports bring a lot of life lessons to us as humans.
8. What is your dream travel destination?
A: My dream travel destination is Santorini, Greece. Being Greek is a huge part of my family’s culture and I would love to visit some day!
9. What are some facts about yourself that most people are not aware of?
A: A fact about myself that some people may not know is that I work two jobs, coach 2 softball teams, and am in grad school.
10. What are some hopes and goals you have for 2022?
A: Some hopes and goals I have for 2022 are to continue to work on my education to be the best person/teacher I can for my students, friends, coworker, and family. I am also hoping to bring home a championship for Cromwell Softball!!!
Overall, Ms. Polizonis is a great teacher to get to know. Her passion for teaching is admirable and she has many interesting opinions. Ms. Polizonis is another wonderful teacher in our CHS community.

Teacher Talk: Mrs. Turner
Elyssa Efici
The teachers in CHS work very hard to make the school a better place. They are always ready to help and spend much of their time finding better methods to teach us positively and effectively. They know much about all of us as students, but how much do we really know about them?
Today we interview Mrs. Turner with ten questions about her life, her career, and her mindset.
1. What was your favorite High School memory as a student?
A: I have so many! I guess my favorite memories as a student was attending all the events that my High School (Middletown High) put on. I loved going to the sporting events, being a part of the marching band and performing at half time and at Disney, attending the drama performances. I also will always have the memory of a Spanish teacher, Senora LaRosa standing at the exit of the building each day singing in Spanish “Chocolat – un dolar un dolar” over and over in such a happy tone as she was helping to raise money for the school through the DECA program of selling Otis Spunkmeyer cookies! She always had us laughing and would always do anything to help us!
2. What was your favorite High School memory as a teacher?
A: This is hard as I love being a teacher here at Cromwell High – I have so many memories over the past 6 years! Here’s a few of mine – Beauty and The Beast Musical (I think in 2015), The graduating class of 2019 (they were my first Kindergarten class and it was amazing to see them on their first day of Kindergarten and last day of Senior year), the many championship games and seeing the school spirit and the hard work from our players, sportsmanship, and encouragement from our school community.
3. Why did you choose to make a career out of teaching?
A: I’ve always had an interest in teaching. My mom was a teacher and I loved going into her classroom to help. I then became involved in teaching swim lessons when I was 16. I have always loved being around students and have always wanted to help others build their knowledge to succeed. For me, understanding that leading an active and healthy lifestyle can help one’s overall wellness to be successful was why I went into the field of Health and Physical Education. I want to instill in others ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I love being able to show students ways to have fun and remain active and healthy so they can maintain their overall health and wellness here in high school, but also as they move on into their own lives.
4. How has COVID 19 changed your mindset and the methods that you use to teach?
A: COVID has put many restrictions on my teaching through the equipment and activities we were previously able to use. However, I have tried to become more creative in ways of showing students you can be active and maintain your wellness without a lot of materials or space as we focus on fitness. Anything you can do with equipment, you can do without. There many need to be adjustments, but you can still do it! The methods of incorporating more technology is also an adjustment for me. I’ll admit, I’m not a techy person, but I’m trying! Many of you students are helping me as well and I’m grateful for your patience and help.
5. What are some hobbies that you enjoy?
A: Walking my dogs, playing with my children, running, golfing, gardening, reading, skiing, snowmobiling.
6. What is your favorite food and dessert?
A: Favorite food: I Love Food! I’d have to say my favorite is Pizza however! Dessert: I will never turn down anything chocolate.
7. Do you have a favorite sport and idols for that sport?
A: My sport in high school was soccer however now, I am very much into golf! Growing up, my idol was Mia Hamm. She was a great soccer player and always demonstrated positive sportsmanship.
8. What is your dream travel destination?
A: Alaska.
9. What are some facts about yourself that most people are not aware of?
A: I have completed triathlons in the past. They are a lot of fun because you get to incorporate three different events (swim, bike, run).
10. What are some hopes and goals you have for 2021?
A: My hope and goals are for us to return to more normalcy and that my family, friends, students, and colleagues are able to stay HEALTHY and SAFE!!!
Overall, Mrs. Turner has proven to be optimistic, active, and open minded. She is very involved in the school community and sports activities. By staying positive, helpful and committed to her essential profession, she encourages students to stay positive while going through challenges and is always there to help them. Mrs.Turner is a very delightful teacher that deserves to be recognized!

Teacher Talk: Ms. D'Orvilliers
Elyssa Efici
The teachers in CHS work very hard to make the school a better place. They are always ready to help and spend much of their time finding better methods to teach us positively and effectively. They know much about all of us as students, but how much do we really know about them?
Today we interview Ms. D'Orvilliers with ten questions about her life, her career, and her mindset.
1. What was your favorite High School memory as a student?
A: In high school, there was a really tough English teacher who ended up becoming my favorite teacher ever! I really enjoyed her classes because although the courses were challenging, she always made the learning fun! I became very close to her and I would often visit her after school, even after I didn't have her as my teacher anymore (although I took as many courses with her as I could!) She always made me feel comfortable and accepted. I enjoyed her teaching style so much that I try to imitate it in my classroom! My favorite memory is definitely becoming her teacher’s assistant, which was fun because she gave me “teacher tasks” since I was already interested in potentially pursuing a job in teaching. Being her TA gave me the opportunity to shadow a teacher and understand what the job entailed. I enjoyed observing her and helping her out; it definitely strengthened my interest in pursuing a career in teaching. .
2. What was your favorite High School memory as a teacher?
A: I have to admit that chaperoning the Senior Class Trip to Washington DC was a lot of fun! I enjoyed it because my senior trip when I was in high school was also going to DC! It felt like I had come full circle and it was nice to revisit DC after 5 years! The itinerary was great and the students all really enjoyed themselves. It was fun to see them experiencing the same joy I experienced when I was in their shoes. I also enjoy having the opportunity to bond with all my students. The little moments, like when students drop by to say hi or update me on their lives, are the parts of my day that I look forward to the most!
3. Why did you choose to make a career out of teaching?
A: I have always wanted to be a teacher. When I was younger, my cousins and I would go to my grandparents’ house. In the playroom, there was an easel and some desks, so we would often play “school”. I was ALWAYS the teacher. When I was in high school, I had no idea what subject I wanted to teach; It wasn’t until I had taken a few Spanish classes with one of the high school teachers that I realized Spanish would be really cool to continue learning. As a non-native speaker, I found learning a language to be really interesting because, although difficult, it was providing me with the opportunity to communicate with others who did not speak English and the ability to travel freely and feel confident and comfortable in a foreign country. Additionally, my high school Spanish teacher made learning a foreign language really fun and engaging so it didn't feel as difficult or challenging! We did some really cool projects that I still remember to this day like creating a children's book completely in Spanish or working on really cool video projects!!
4. How has COVID 19 changed your mindset and the methods that you use to teach?
A: I have definitely learned a lot about using technology in the classroom due to Covid! Since I am a fully virtual teacher, I have the ability to have all the students continue to engage in the classroom discussion, which is nice! I have learned how to put my class notes online, which many students find helpful. I also have learned how to implement fun online activities, such as quizizz and kahoots into the regular classroom discourse. As it is challenging to focus on speaking during this time, I am spending lots of time teaching reading comprehension strategies and learning how to use vocaroo for online verbal practice. My goal is for my students to continue to learn how to speak a foreign language during the pandemic in a variety of interesting and engaging ways.
5. What are some hobbies that you enjoy?
A: I love teaching Zumba! I have been a Zumba instructor since my junior year of college. I enjoy teaching Zumba because I love to dance! Being based in the Latin rhythms, I love that the music in Zumba class sets the atmosphere to be less like a workout and more like a party. Who wouldn't want to dance while getting in an intense cardio workout? The hour long classes fly by and I always end class with a smile on my face.
6. What is your favorite food and dessert?
A: Oh goodness… does Starbucks count as a snack? I love their mango dragonfruit refreshers! I am so excited for Cromwell to be getting a Starbucks! My favorite dessert is definitely cheesecake! I love the cinnamon bun cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory! :)
7. Do you have a favorite sport and idols for that sport?
A: Ohhh… does Zumba count as a sport? (I mean, I count it!) If so, then yes! The Zumba instructors I idolize are Loretta Bates and Julie Richetelli. Both of these instructors create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere in their classes with an easy to follow but incredible playlist that has participants sweating and smiling throughout the entire class! I have never taken a class with either instructor where I don´t instantly feel my mood improve and a smile comes to my face!
8. What is your dream travel destination?
A: Every Spanish speaking country for sure! I love Spain but can’t wait until the pandemic is over to adventure more into south and central America; however, my dream travel destination right now is London! I loved being able to travel around Europe when I was studying abroad. I had the ability to travel to many European countries such as Ireland, France, and Italy, but did not get to London so it is still on my bucket list!
9. What are some facts about yourself that most people are not aware of?
A: I am a pretty open book but although many know that I have Type 1 Diabetes, not many know that I was diagnosed when I was 16. Another fact is that I went to Keene State College in New Hampshire for my undergrad. Also, although I live in CT and went to school in NH, I hate everything about winter-- it is way too cold for me to enjoy!
10. What are some hopes and goals you have for 2021?
A: My hope and goal is to stay safe this year and for all my students to stay safe and positive as well. I also hope to continue to develop my skills as an online educator by continuing to create interactive and collaborative lessons that students enjoy to help enrich their language studies!
Overall, Ms. D'Orvilliers has shown us that she is creative, organized, adventurous , and fun. She is one to always embrace Spanish culture into daily life. She volunteers to help students and shares beneficial ideas. She is always in a lively mood while teaching her students as well as leading extracurriculars. Ms. D'Orvilliers is a busy teacher who works hard and stays coherent to be the best person she can be in our schools’ community!

Teacher Talk: Ms. Murphy
Karissa Bishop
The teachers in CHS work very hard to make the school a better place. They are always ready to help and spend much of their time finding better methods to teach us positively and effectively. They know much about all of us as students, but how much do we really know about them?
Today we interview Ms. Murphy with ten questions about her life, her career, and her mindset.
1. What was your favorite High School memory as a student?
A: I played tennis all four years of high school and my sophomore year we won the Class S State Championships. I also joined theater my senior year, and although I had a small part in the play, I had so much fun rehearsing and the late practices. We also had an event called "Field Knight" and everyone in the school would stay up all night from 8pm-6am and there were lots of contests, games, competitions and lip sync battles in the gym, cafeteria, and library.
2. What was your favorite High School memory as a teacher?
A: This is only my second year teaching and I have so many memories already. I will always remember the "mask breaks" during class. I love getting to walk outside on a nice day with my students and get to know them outside of the classroom. I have learned so much about my students during these breaks.
3. Why did you choose to make a career out of teaching?
A: Ms. Josyln, my math teacher in high school, inspired me to become a teacher. She cared about my academics, my well being and mental health. I also had an amazing advisor, Ms. Connery, who helped me a lot in high school. I have been very fortunate to have a supportive family as well as great college advisors. I love teaching and I love having fun. It's more enjoyable for me as a teacher when I can joke around and inspire students at the same time.
4. How has COVID 19 changed your mindset and the methods that you use to teach?
A: Since I started teaching last year for the first time, I have never had a "normal" year yet. I was basically forced to change my mindset and methods because of Covid-19. It has been tough, but I am also a stronger teacher because of it.
5. What are some hobbies that you enjoy?
A: I love playing tennis and going to farmers markets and antique/thrift shops. I work at a farm stand in the summer and I sell all sorts of fruits and vegetables. Working outside in the summer is a nice break. I also enjoy spending time with my close friends. We try to hike or take walks every weekend, and we also have tried axe throwing, pottery, rock climbing, and more! My sister just had a baby boy, Noah, so I try to see him as much as possible, but it has been hard in the pandemic.
6. What is your favorite food and dessert?
A: I love seafood! I grew up on the shoreline so we had seafood a lot growing up. I also like crazy pizzas. I once had a blueberry pizza and I know it sounds gross, but it was so yummy! I am a big fan of ice-cream or cookie dough as dessert.
7. Do you have a favorite sport and idols for that sport?
A: I like all sports in general, but I don't necessarily have a favorite athlete or idol. I like the camaraderie and trust in team sports and activities. In college I joined a bunch of clubs and sports and I had so much fun. I do like watching Extreme Sports, or the Olympics or CrossFit games because it is so cool to see those athletes compete.
8. What is your dream travel destination?
A: I have not done a lot of travelling yet and so I would want to see more of the United States before I choose to travel outside the country. I want to visit all the national parks and visit Washington state, Alaska, Nevada and many more!
9. What are some facts about yourself that most people are not aware of?
A: Hmmm, I have a pet lobster. He is tiny, kind of like a crawfish, and he is super cute. I also have a betta fish and he is 3 years old! I love taking long drives on a nice summer day with my windows down and music playing probably too loud. Even though I grew up in Westbrook, I hate the beach. I would much rather spend a day on a beautiful lake. I was a camp director before I was a teacher and I taught kids how to survive in the woods - I would teach them how to build shelters, start and maintain fires, fish, swim, cook outside, etc.
10. What are some hopes and goals you have for 2021?
A: I know this year has been really tough on a lot of people, especially students and teachers. I hope that the warmer weather and longer days will bring hope to a lot of people. I know I cannot wait for sunny days, summer nights and bonfires. I think once spring and summer come along a lot of people will be happier and more joyful.
Overall, Ms. Murphy has told us so many interesting facts and given us a look into her life! Between teaching survival skills, playing tennis, having unique pets, and having traveling goals, Ms. Murphy is a very exciting person. Her hope for the future and positive attitude also spreads optimism and kindness.

Teacher Talk: Mr. Borton
Karissa Bishop
The teachers in CHS work very hard to make the school a better place. They are always ready to help and spend much of their time finding better methods to teach us positively and effectively. They know much about all of us as students, but how much do we really know about them?
Today we interview Mr. Borton with ten questions about his life, his career, and his mindset.
1. What was your favorite High School memory as a student?
A: As a student, it’s been 15 years since I left so it’s hard to totally say. I have a lot of fond memories from playing sports with teammates(including my brother), and even some moments from some of my specific classes that still stick in my mind. But, I’d say that I do value the most from high school are the relationships I was able to have with some of my teachers. I still keep in touch with one regularly and a few others I still see in passing, so it’s great to know that I have something that lasts beyond those years when I was there.
2. What was your favorite High School memory as a teacher?
A: At this point in my career, besides getting a pie put in my face during a pep rally(right up the nose and all in my face and hair), it’s the growth I see in so many kids from freshman to senior year. Not just one in particular, but it’s very cool to see how students change over the course of 4 years.
3. Why did you choose to make a career out of teaching?
A: Honestly, I thought I wanted to go into business. Then, I decided that I liked working with kids way too much and coaching sports also exposed me to working with kids in a different way, and I loved studying history. Really it came down to not one day being the same from another(from a ‘work standpoint’) and getting an opportunity to help young people see history differently from a ‘dead’ subject and to help them think about some tough questions and to make it relatable to them.
4. How has COVID 19 changed your mindset and the methods that you use to teach?
A: COVID has actually ‘slowed’ me down a bit and made me far more appreciative for a lot of things. In terms of teaching, while obviously I’ve had to engage and use far more technology to engage with students, COVID has also made me see the value in the traditional way of learning and the foundation it can give students to start themselves off in the world. There is a blend that I think is important, and COVID has shown me how important having a foundation of learning can be before you begin being ‘creative’.
5. What are some hobbies that you enjoy?
A: I’m a sucker for a good podcast with interesting people who share their life stories(both good and bad) and I also enjoy reading and writing. Sports, any kind of physical activity(running, working out) and being outside(mowing my lawn, and working on projects) are also some ‘hobbies’ I’ve always done.
6. What is your favorite food and dessert?
A: Don’t really have a favorite food. I’m called the ‘human garbage disposal’ by my family, so really anything. That includes dessert as well- I don’t buy junk food because I can’t help but binge eat it.
7. Do you have a favorite sport and idols for that sport?
A: I grew up admiring Michael Jordan, and not just because of the ‘flash’ and highlights, but him like others who put so much of their effort, emotion, and energy into a job/task. More so, I’m fascinated by “ultra athletes” and people who go out and run 50-100mile races and complete endurance tasks. David Goggins is a former Navy Seal, now ultra-athlete who I find incredible because of not only what he does, but what people like him and their stories represent for how people can make themselves better with the right mind set.
8. What is your dream travel destination?
A: The beaches of Normandy, France where the invasion during World War II took place. Also, I would like to visit Auschwitz and the surrounding areas in Poland.
9. What are some facts about yourself that most people are not aware of?
A: I’m a pretty open book about a lot of things including how I live. Maybe that I journal almost daily and have been for the last few years and I find it very helpful/therapeutic.
10. What are some hopes and goals you have for 2021?
A: My fiance and I are getting married, so if that could actually happen without COVID interrupting, that’d be great. I’m also planning on running a marathon this year as a New Year’s Resolution to myself.
Overall, Mr. Borton has given us an insight into his life and his personality. He clearly puts effort and care into his teaching. He has told us his memories, hobbies, and goals. Though Mr. Borton usually teaches history, today he has taught us some information about himself. Overall, not only is he an amazing teacher, but he is an amazing person as well!

Teacher Talk: Mr. Graham
Julia Baymuradova
The teachers in CHS work very hard to make the school a better place. They are always ready to help and spend much of their time finding better methods to teach us positively and effectively. They know much about all of us as students, but how much do we really know about them?
Today we interview Mr. Graham with ten questions about his life, his career, and his mindset.
1. What was your favorite High School memory as a student?
A: My favorite high school memory..... I don't think I can pick just one. I remember the events, football games, basketball games, my lacrosse games, proms, etc... everyone getting together and just having a great time. We would get large crowds for all of the games and the student section was a blast. Windsor was a great community to grow up in.
2. What was your favorite High School memory as a teacher?
A: Asking me to pick a favorite memory is like asking me to pick a favorite student. I just can't do it. I guess my favorite moments are when students begin to really grasp the concepts I teach. They really start to think about how it can help to shape their future.
3. Why did you choose to make a career out of teaching?
A: After serving in the US Navy, I came home and finished my college degree (International Business), I had just lived overseas for 5 years (Japan) and I wanted to stay local and start a family. I was coaching lacrosse at South Windsor High School and I realized I really enjoyed coaching and helping kids. I remembered in High School I said I was going to one day become an English teacher. Well, my view on what to teach changed, but the idea of teaching was always there.
4. How has COVID 19 changed your mindset and the methods that you use to teach?
A: Interestingly enough the mindset of teaching has not changed at all. I believe if you asked any teacher their focus of what they want to teach has not changed. It is the method that is the work. Teachers, not just myself, had to recreate how we teach. Luckily I am technologically savvy. The hard part is taking the lessons and materials home every night and converting them to a delivery system that would allow us to teach both remotely and in person. A lot of late nights were had and still some more to come. We will all get through this together though, the kids have been great in adapting as well.
5. What are some hobbies that you enjoy?
A: Sports..... I am a sports guy. I still play lacrosse in a few different leagues (Indoor/winter, spring & summer). The pandemic has halted that for now, has me thinking I may need to pick up golf!
6. What is your favorite food and dessert?
A: When it comes to food I am a simple guy. Meat and potatoes! A good steak, baked or mashed potatoes and some broccoli or asparagus and I am a happy man. When it comes to dessert, I love ice cream! Mint Chip & Peppermint Stick are my favorites.
7. Do you have a favorite sport and idols for that sport?
A: Favorite sport to watch is football! I am a Patriots fan through and through, however I am rooting for Tom Brady to win the Super Bowl. He did give us 20 great years in New England! The sport I love to play is lacrosse! I have been playing lacrosse for over 35 year now. It is part of who I am. My idol would probably be Lee Pinney from Somers, CT. He is the father of lacrosse in the Northern CT area. To this day I believe about 80 years old he will still put on a helmet and play with us in the summer! I have had the pleasure of knowing the man and playing lacrosse with him and against him for over 20 years.
8. What is your dream travel destination?
A: Well, in this area I have been very fortunate. While serving in the Navy I was able to visit a large number of countries including, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong (British and Chinese), Japan (lived there), Thailand, Philippines, and Russia off the top of my head. I guess my dream vacation, besides on an island beach, would be visiting Ireland, Scotland and Greece. Love the idea of seeing the history of those places.
9. What are some facts about yourself that most people are not aware of?
A: Well, I am pretty much an open book.... not sure what people are not aware of at this point! Just ask!
10. What are some hopes and goals you have for the beginning of 2021?
A: For 2021, my hope is to get back to some semblance of normal! Both here at school and at home. I miss the social interactions and gatherings. For now though, my goal is to help the students of Cromwell High School to successfully make it through the school year!
Overall Mr. Graham proves to have many qualities that can help improve the school community by bringing faculty and students together. I, myself, had Mr. Graham as a teacher and he had the perfect balance of patience, dedication to teaching, and strictness. He is an inspiring figure to look up to, as he has served this country for the greater good. His tales and adventures of other cultures is intriguing and his passion for sports almost overrides that. The CHS News staff is honored to feature him this week in Teacher Talk. Until next week!

Past Teacher Talk: Mrs. Palazzo
Arianna Bishop
There are many teachers in the Cromwell education system that deserve recognition. These teachers, particularly those of younger age groups, have watched their students grow into the people they are today. The hard work of these teachers have affected the success of the students in the long run and have caused them to become better scholars. Once in a while, it is important to look back and remember the people that changed our lives, especially those who are teachers.
Today is the chance to hear back from Mrs. Palazzo, who we interviewed with ten questions about her life, her career, and her mindset.
1. What was your favorite memory as a student?
A: My favorite memory as a student was when I graduated high school. I remember how much I loved that day and celebrating all of my hard work with my family and friends.

4. How has COVID 19 changed your mindset and the methods that you use to teach?
A: COVID 19 has definitely changed my style and methods of teaching. I used to teach all of my lessons for my third graders while they sat on the rug right in front of me in my classroom. Now, just the way my classroom is structured is completely different. I also have adapted and learned new technology apps and programs I never even knew existed until this past year!
5. What are some hobbies that you enjoy?

A: I value my family and career. This past year has taught me to appreciate these two things more than ever.

9. What are some facts about yourself that most people are not aware of?
A: I have been teaching in Cromwell for the past 10 years! I have worked in every school in Cromwell except for the high school.
10. What are some hopes and goals you have for 2021?
A: I hope things can get back to normal and for people to stay healthy.
Overall, Mrs. Palazzo is a kind, empathetic wife, mother, and teacher who is always ready to help anyone in need. She makes sure her students build great memories during her year with them. She works hard to teach her students many lessons in school and in life. She pushes all of her students to make connections as they learn and reach their full potential. Mrs. Palazzo is an excellent teacher that should receive acknowledgement for her efforts.

Teacher Talk: Mr. Harder
Arianna Bishop
The teachers in CHS work very hard to make the school a better place. They are always ready to help and spend much of their time finding better methods to teach us positively and effectively. They know much about all of us as students, but how much do we really know about them?
Today we interview Mr. Harder with ten questions about his life, his career, and his mindset.
1. What was your favorite High School memory as a student?
A: My memories of the friendships I made are the high school memories I always return to in my mind.
2. What was your favorite High School memory as a teacher?
A: Whenever I remember that lightbulb going off in a student's head when they understand something - it's a rewarding feeling and something I cherish as an educator.
3. Why did you choose to make a career out of teaching?
A: My father was a teacher and spent his whole career in education. I think mostly because of how I was raised to look at the world (through another teacher's eyes) led to my desire to teach.
4. How has COVID 19 changed your mindset and the methods that you use to teach?
A: COVID has been inconvenient for everyone. We've all had to adjust, whether we are students or professionals. It has made me learn what exactly is most important to students and also that learning for teens is best accomplished in the classroom.
5. What are some hobbies that you enjoy?
A: My personal hobbies include beekeeping, model and robot-making with my kids, backyard astronomy/stargazing, fantasy football and baking. I also enjoy backpacking and hiking with my family - we love the great outdoors.
6. What is your favorite food and dessert?
A: If it's edible, I'm probably going to try it. If it's not edible and it has chocolate on it, I'll probably try it anyway. I don't want to pick a favorite food because all the other foods might get jealous.
7. Do you have a favorite sport and idols for that sport?
A: Baseball is my favorite sport and Don Mattingly was my baseball hero growing up. But John Elway was my childhood idol and I still contend that he was the greatest quarterback to ever step onto a football field (no disrespect to Tom Brady).
8. What is your dream travel destination?
A: I want to visit many places but Tahiti and New Zealand are at the top of the list.
9. What are some facts about yourself that most people are not aware of?
A: I win ribbons everytime I enter a baking contest. I can skip rocks better than anyone I know. I love catnaps.

Overall, Mr. Harder has shown us that he is smart, funny, kind, friendly, and always willing to lend a helping hand. He works hard to understand the feelings of his students and how they are being affected by our current environment. He lightens up the mood of a situation on a rough day and he surprises us with his knowledge. Mr. Harder is a considerate teacher who works hard to be his best self each and every day.

4. How has COVID 19 changed your mindset and the methods that you use to teach?
A: I think that COVID had brought on so many different challenges for individuals and families. Music has always been used as a coping method, and I think that many students actually used it as an outlet especially during our quarantine last spring. I went into this school year with the mindset that it is my job to encourage the use of music in a way that is beneficial to each individual. Some find solace in songwriting, while others gravitate more to listening and analyzing. Teacher Talk: Mr. Borgia

The teachers in CHS work very hard to make the school a better place. They are always ready to help and spend much of their time finding better methods to teach us positively and effectively. They know much about all of us as students, but how much do we really know about them?
For this week’s Teacher Spotlight Article, Mr. Borgia, the school's stem teacher, was interviewed. We asked him a few questions about his life, career, and Covid-19.
1. What was your favorite High School memory as a student?
A: My favorite high school memory was definitely working in our technology education room. I went to Farmington High School where they had a very complete woodworking shop. We used to build full sheds and actually deliver them to people’s houses. There was a spot in the back of the building where even in the cold months we would be out there building and prepping walls, and floors, we would also design the trusses for the roof. We would actually build the shed at the school, and then take it apart so that we can stack it on the trailer to bring to the customers house.
2. What was your favorite High School memory as a teacher?
A: I don’t have one specific favorite memory, but definitely a culmination of memories. My favorite thing ever as a teacher is when students finish a project that they have been working on for a long time. Either in my woodworking classes or in any of my other classes. Watching the excitement on a student’s face when they say “holy cow I actually built that”, is the best ever!!
3. Why did you choose to make a career out of teaching?
A: Mostly because of the topics I teach. I feel that I teach something that a lot of people usually never get the opportunity to be exposed to outside of school. I feel that there are so many skills and techniques that a person can learn from the various classes that I teach which they can use in their own life. The majority of content is all applicable to the real world, and I am hoping it can spark some opportunities for careers after high school. I am a teacher because of my extreme excitement for my content, and I really want to share it with as many young people that I can.
4. How has COVID 19 changed your mindset and the methods that you use to teach?
A: COVID has definitely flipped my classes upside down. Traditionally the majority of my classes are project based, and because of COVID a lot of that had to be changed. We are not doing many of the projects that I usually would do, and we have had to change the curriculum so that students can still learn content just in a totally different style. I definitely miss the projects that we are able to do, nothing is more fun than building. COVID has definitely brought some challenges, but challenges usually keep life exciting!!
5. What are some hobbies that you enjoy?
A: I have a few hobbies which I enjoy!! I feel that hobbies are the greatest things ever, mostly because they are something to look forward to at the end of the day. They are relaxing and most importantly, really fun!! In the winter I love woodworking at home, I do various projects around the house, plus small toys and gifts. I also love landscaping, so during the summer months I am always outside planting and making sure my grass is green. I also love fishing, I usually go fishing with my father, brother-in-law, and father in law every week. We saltwater fish off the beaches in Misquamicut, Rhode Island.
6. What is your favorite food and dessert?
A: Favorite food is tough, I love Mexican cuisine, and Chinese cuisine. Almost to the point if you put it in front of me and you trip, you might be eaten as well! My favorite dessert, well that’s a terrible question because it is all amazing! Good ole ice cream sundae to a good cookie or pie, I can eat it all!
7. Do you have a favorite sport and idols for that sport?
A: I am a football fan, my favorite team is the Minnesota Vikings. All my life before meeting my wife I never watched football. After meeting her, and her family I started watching and learning about football, that’s when I became a fan of the Minnesota Vikings. I am also a huge Formula 1 racing fan. I grew up watching the sport and still enjoy it. My favorite racers are Michael Schumacher and Charles Leclerc, who drive for the scarlet red Ferrari!
8. What is your dream travel destination?
A: I would love to go back to our honeymoon spot which was Maui! The beaches were amazing and the water was so nice, it was an overall amazing trip! I would also love to go to Monaco, to the circuit of Monaco and watch an F1 race.
9. What are some facts about yourself that most people are not aware of?
A: When I started college I also started a two man Landscaping company which ran successfully for ten years, when I finally had to stop because there was too much going on in my life between full time teaching, getting married, master’s program, and moving. I definitely enjoyed and miss it!
10. What are some hopes and goals you have for the rest of 2020?
A: Mostly just enjoying the close family time and the less rushing around to all the various parties and events!
Overall, Mr. Borgia proves to be a fun, outgoing teacher who is committed to his interests and responsibilities. Mr. Borgia is innovative and involved in his community. He is a role model in our school, and deserves to be appreciated! See you next week!

Teacher Talk: Mrs. Sobieralski
Kelly McTeague
The teachers in CHS work very hard to make the school a better place. They are always ready to help and spend much of their time finding better methods to teach us positively and effectively. They know much about all of us as students, but how much do we really know about them?
Today we interview Mrs. Sobieralski with ten questions about her life, her career, and her mindset.
1. What was your favorite high school memory as a student?
A: My favorite highschool memory was probably playing on the softball team and the bus rides to and from games and all of the friendships that we had on that team.
2. What was your favorite high school moment as a teacher?
A: I feel like I collectively put all these memories together, but when students are just genuinely excited to talk about literature and life, and they forget that I’m in the classroom, because they're in the conversations. That’s my favorite part. When they are just enjoying learning because they love it. I don't necessarily have to be a part of that chemistry, it’s happening on its own. If something happens in a book and it totally shocks them, I love that authentic reaction. I’ve been teaching 19 years, I could teach a book over and over and there are things that students say in a classroom where I just learn so much from them. I also just love laughing with everybody. It’s so much fun. The questions that people ask, the reactions, the connections. I just love the authentic nature that it brings out in people. And I get super excited talking about it too.
3. Why did you choose to make a career out of teaching?
A: I knew I wanted a teacher when I was in ninth grade because of my english teacher. I Knew at that moment that that’s what I wanted to do. I think part of it is she helped me realize how much I loved to read, but I also think that a part of it was that I struggled in high school in terms of feeling socially connected with other students sometimes. There were a few teachers that helped me during those tough times in high school that made me realize that I wanted to do that for students as well, to be that for them. I was so grateful that my teachers not only cared about their subjects, but cared about students and saw that purpose behind teaching. That it was more than just teaching, it was connecting. I try to make that part of my classrooms as well, feeling like we’re connected. Even when we are so far apart, or wearing masks.
4. How has COVID-19 changed your mindset and the methods that you use to teach?
A: The methods have certainly changed. I think at the heart of it all, it’s still the same. Helping students to learn, but also helping them grow as learners and people. I think at the heart, teaching is still the same because we care about our students so much. I think the methods have certainly changed, in terms of all the different ways that we have to connect with our students. Whether it’s virtually or in a class, all of the different technologies we have to use now, in terms of posting assignments or making sure the technology is working. I never thought i’d be comfortable talking into a camera, but now it’s comfortable for me! I think it’s definitely posed a lot of challenges in the methods regard. It’s slower though, it takes ten times longer to do anything. Even the other day I forgot to press play on something, so they didn’t hear the section we were reading, and I was like, well, my bad! It’s especially hard for me, because I tend to move around a lot and be very energetic.
5. What are some hobbies that you enjoy?
A: I love running! I did have some injuries, I broke my foot again last year, so I’m trying to get back into running still. But I’ve run three marathons, I run a lot of five K’s. I love fundraising. I actually run for a little boy who has something called Angelman’s syndrome. Whenever I do races, I do it for a purpose. I fundraised for him, and last year I was able to get him an adaptive bike. He doesn’t have the ability to walk, so biking is a good rehab. The bike costs 2500 dollars, because it’s an adaptive bike. All my fundraising went to that. My hobby of running is directly tied to my passion of helping out my buddy RJ. I do it for a program called I Run 4. It’s a partnership between able bodied participants and those who aren’t able to participate in sports. My other hobbies are gardening, and flowers, I love being outdoors. I love hiking. I started getting back into mountain biking. Basically anything to be outside. Reading, of course. And playing with my kids.
6. What is your favorite food and dessert?
A: My favorite food… oh gosh I have so many. It has to be pasta sunday. I’m half sacilian, so pasta sunday is my favorite food. I like linguini, too. My favorite dessert is my mom’s chocolate cake.
7. Do you have a favorite sport and idols for that sport?
A: I think Kathrine Switzer. She was the first woman to run the boston marathon. She signed up as a man. She was almost attacked multiple times, people pulling her off the race, but others protected her. When I think of other idols, I love watching soccer, I watch the US world cup a lot and I look up to the women’s soccer team and their strength. I’m a UCONN Alumni, so of course I watch their basketball team. I also rode horses for UCONN competitively, so I love watching horseback riding. I really love sports, I love watching football too. Anything except hockey really.
8. What is your dream travel destination?
A: I would really like to go to Europe with my whole family. I’ve been to Europe, but I would love to go to Sicily, Italy. I would love to go with my parents, my husband and My kids. A whole European trip really. I have family in Poland, so I would love to reconnect with them, and just go with them to eat and see the villages. I would definitely want to go to France too.
9. What are some facts about yourself that most people are not aware of?
A: Fun fact, I eat the whole apple core and all. I don’t throw out the core. It has to be a macintosh apple, though, and I don’t eat the stem. Another fact is that I broke my neck in a mountain biking accident. I’ve got my fair share of injuries.
10. What are some hopes and goals you have for the rest of 2020?
A: I’m hopeful that we’ll be able to find normalcy and connect to each other. I’m hoping that the vaccine works, to help everyone and be healthy for the rest of 2020. I want to hug my parents soon, I miss that. I hope that everyone remains healthy and that we can come back together as a school and community. My brother actually got vaccinated yesterday, he’s a frontline worker. He’s the bright light in the family, the possibility of that unity and normalcy happening again.

Teacher Talk: Mrs. Williams
Julia Baymuradova
The teachers in CHS work very hard to make the school a better place. They are always ready to help and spend much of their time finding better methods to teach us positively and effectively. They know much about all of us as students, but how much do we really know about them?
Today we interview Mrs. Williams with ten questions about her life, her career, and her mindset.
1. What was your favorite High School memory as a student?
A: I can't say I have one memory. I have various. Between running track, playing in the band and stopping by to catch up with my French teacher (who was amazing). Also, when the assistant principal Mr. Bryant said that I would make a great teacher. I laughed at him and said, "I am going to be a nurse." He was great. He cared about the students and always made time for us. I was lucky to have awesome teachers and great friends that I am still in touch with today.
2. What was your favorite High School memory as a teacher?
A: I have to say when students are proud of their work and have self satisfaction in doing the best they could. That never gets old as a teacher. Even the small things that students do. I really appreciate that. A few highlights: The teacher dancing with the stars event that I organized with the world language club was pretty cool. Or when Georgia Mikan did a story of me running the Boston Marathon in her media class, that was amazing. I really love the students at Cromwell High School. We have some of the best students around.
3. Why did you choose to make a career out of teaching?
A: I decided to become a teacher after fulfilling a rotation assignment in nursing school. I worked with some children that were hospitalized. I became a substitute teacher while going to school and working in a mental health facility. I really enjoyed teaching young people new skills. I kind of "fell" into teaching. I am glad I did.
4. How has COVID 19 changed your mindset and the methods that you use to teach?
A: COVID 19 has changed my methods. My mindset has always been to provide my students with opportunities to grow and learn a second language. My methods have become more creative. I have grown as a teacher, mom, and human. I am more patient and compassionate. :)
5. What are some hobbies that you enjoy?
A: I enjoy running tremendously. I think many students know that about me. I started playing hockey with my son's team about 2 years ago. Even though I need some serious improvement it is a new hobby that I enjoy.
6. What is your favorite food and dessert?
A: My favorite healthy food is salad. My favorite unhealthy food that I have every Friday night is pizza. My favorite dessert is chocolate.
7. Do you have a favorite sport and idols for that sport?
A: I am a bit of a sport enthusiast. I met two awesome running legends: Joan Benoit was the first American marathon winner in the 1984 olympics. When I taught in Thomas Edison Middle School I brought my girls team to a special run with her. It was awesome. I also got to meet the runner Thomas Valles from the movie McFarland USA. That was epic! He gave my family and I a tour of the school.
8. What is your dream travel destination?
A: I would love to go to Machu Picchu. It is a bucket list trip to walk among the Inca ruins.
9. What are some facts about yourself that most people are not aware of?
A: I almost became a black belt. I am super bummed about that. I loved doing martial arts. I was raised by a single mom and that has definitely impacted my view of life and how I live my life. She is my superhero.
10. What are some hopes and goals you have for the rest of 2020?
A: I have high hopes for the rest of the year. My goals are to continue to ensure that my family, friends and especially students are striving to be a bit better each day.

Arianna Bishop and Elyssa Efici
The teachers in CHS work very hard to make the school a better place. They are always ready to help and spend much of their time finding better methods to teach us positively and effectively. They know much about all of us as students, but how much do we really know about them?
Today we interview Mr. Knight with ten questions about his life, his career, and his mindset.
1. What was your favorite High School memory as a student?
A: I was able to emcee the spring pep rally my senior year. It was a lot of fun being able to introduce the teams, lead the games, and hype up the student body.
2. What was your favorite High School memory as a teacher?
A: My favorite memory has to be attending all the extracurricular activities as a fan. I really enjoy watching the plays/musicals, going to soccer and football games, and of course attending the pep rallies.
3. Why did you choose to make a career out of teaching?
A: I had such an enjoyable HS experience. All of the teachers and people in the building were always doing creative things to make sure we (as students) were put in the best positions to succeed. I always admired that and wanted to be a part of it.
4. How has COVID 19 changed your mindset and the methods that you use to teach?
A: It certainly has been an adjustment for everyone. My mindset is still the same: How can I get students to learn something? How I go about doing this has changed. I incorporate a lot more exit slips through google classroom. I used to do a bunch of pencil and paper work, but now I need technology to help me keep student’s work organized.
5. What are some hobbies that you enjoy?
A: I love outdoor activities like biking, swimming, hiking, boating, and sports. I play in a flag football league in the fall and spring, and spend most of my summers either on the water or travelling to places with water.

A: My favorite food is pizza, because it’s so versatile! You can put almost anything on it! My favorite dessert is a chocolate milkshake.
7. Do you have a favorite sport and idols for that sport?
A: My favorite sport is football. I am a diehard NY Giants fan. My favorite Giant’s player growing up was Amani Toomer. I was also a big fan of Brett Favre (even though he never played for the Giants).
8. What is your dream travel destination?
A: Inside the USA, I really want to go to Alaska. Internationally, I really want to travel to Australia.
9. What are some facts about yourself that most people are not aware of?
A: I own a unicycle. That’s something weird that not many people know. I spent a whole summer one year learning how to ride it. I can travel short distances on it, so I consider that a success. Another fact is that I can make a water drop sound. It sounds really cool in a quiet room and it sounds quite real.
10. What are some hopes and goals you have for the rest of 2020?
A: My hope is that we can find some way to get sporting events to happen. We need some more extracurriculars to get some energy back into the building. Everyone is working so hard, we all just need some time to rest and do something fun!
Overall, Mr. Knight has proven to be adventurous and ambitious. He is very involved in his community and has many unique talents. By staying organized and having a growth mindset, he is prepared for the future ahead. Mr. Knight is a very inspiring teacher that deserves to be recognized! See you next week!
