Printing is generally a two step process:
Pick the printer from the list of available printers. The standard Black and White (B/W) printer which prints on letter-sized paper.
Make any other changes to your print job in the print setting of the program you're using. This includes things like:
Setting margins
Setting header/footer options
Page numbering
Setting the number of pages you want to print.
Paper size
Color settings
When you click on the print button, you'll get a confirmation that your print job was sent to the printer.
If there's not enough money on your account, the print job will be sent to the print release station/self-checkout machine until you pay for the print job.
Release your print job by using the "Release Print Job" button on the self-service kiosk and use your library card number or guest pass number to access the list of jobs on the print release station.
Select the Color printer from the list of available printers.
Make sure the print options for the program you're using indicate color printing.
For 2-sided printing in either black and white or color:
Pick the printer that says 2-sided in the name.
Make sure the print options for the program you're using indicate printing on both sides of the page (or 2-sided printing).
If printing in color, make sure that color printing is indicated in the print options as well.
For printing on legal-sized paper in either black and white or color:
Pick the printer that says Legal in the name.
Make sure the print options for the program you're using indicate printing on legal size paper.
If printing in color on legal sized paper, make sure that both the paper size (legal) and color options are both set properly.
