Teams may check in as early as 6:00 pm on 05/17/2024. Check in on 05/17/2024 will end at 10 pm. On 05/18/2024 teams may begin to check in at 6 am. All teams must be checked in by 8:00 am on 05/18/2024.
All booths, teams and meat will be inspected starting at 8:30 am immediately followed by a cooks meeting. Meat must be stored 40 degrees Fahrenheit or less before cooking. Storage in coolers with ice will be sufficient. All meat must be recognizable as wild game prior to cooking.
A cooks meeting will be held to go over the rules and answer any questions.
Teams must submit their dishes between 1:00 pm and 1:05 pm
Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place along with a special prize for Dead Ass Last!
Daytime events will include local wineries and breweries, a large corn hole tournament, raffles, silent auctions, and vendors. We will also be selling, pulled pork, hamburgers and hot dogs.
Evening events will include live music by local singer Devon Sutterfield, as recently seen on The Voice.
