What should I do about DCE given that I do not have prior coding experience?
Attempting the DCE is mandatory, completing is not. This is not a test. You don't need any preparation before attempting this exercise.
Skip any questions that you find difficult. If you feel like taking additional time to complete the exercise, go for it. You can submit your solutions even after the timer expires.
I attempted DCE but I could not solve any problems, what now?
This is completely fine. We will enroll you in the foundation language sprint to ensure you start right and start strong in the program. We will share more details in the personalised learning path email with you.
I did not receive the link for attempting DCE. What should I do?
The links are shared in the getting started section of the foundation page. If you can't access it, please raise a ticket on help.crio.do mentioning the same. Our team will assist you further.
Please check here for details.
Please check here for details.
Live sessions are scheduled between 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM on Mon-Sat. We might have sessions in the day slot (11 am onwards) on Sundays and we will keep you informed about the schedule in advance.
If you are already familiar with some Sprint topics and want to complete it at your own (faster) pace, please write to us. We will give you access to the full Sprint curriculum so you can complete it sooner.
You must complete the entire Sprint curriculum to qualify for subsequent Sprints. This includes the following:
Session activities
Take-home assignments
Assessments (if any)
Many concepts covered in future Sprints assume that you have a sound understanding of topics covered earlier. If you move ahead without completing the entire Sprint curriculum, you will struggle with advanced concepts and have repeated questions about topics covered earlier.
For these reasons, if you don't complete a sprint, you will be asked to repeat it or complete it at your own pace. No exceptions to this will be entertained.
When do the sprints start generally?
On the first Monday of the month. You will receive a Zoom invite closer to the start date. Please email us if you have any questions about the start date.
How would I get to know more details about my starting sprint?
We share regular updates about the sprint via WhatsApp group and slack channels.
I have not been added to the sprint WhatsApp group or slack yet. Whom should I contact?
Please reach out to us at help.crio.do and we will add you to sprint communication channels
Whom can I reach out to if I need more details on program schedule?
Please reach out to us at help.crio.do or mail us at fsd@criodo.com
Yes! Every week, there will be 3 live mentor-led sessions. To address any follow-up questions that might arise, we also have 3 live Q&A sessions.
Please check the sample weekly schedule for details.
We highly recommend that you attend all the live sessions. Crio Sprint sessions are not passive. They are engaging learn-by-doing workshops where you will complete nearly 20-30% of the weekly coding activity.
Live session attendance is mandatory. This is to ensure that you get an effective learning experience throughout the program.
If you are unable to attend any live session, same-day recordings are made available. You are required to complete all session activities and take-home assignments before the next session.
Crio Fellowship in S/W Development: 9 months
Complimentary extended access: 3 months
The complimentary extended access mentioned above includes all pauses/breaks (due to any personal/professional commitments) and/or repeated sprints.
You can pause notifications from Crio to temporarily halt receiving reminders for sessions and take-home assignment completion.
Please note that pausing your program does NOT extend its validity.
You can pause your program for as long as is necessary, however, please note that this does NOT extend the validity of your program. We recommend that you return to your Crio program at the earliest so as to not lose momentum.
The longer the pause, the harder it gets to return to your Crio program and resume your progress.
You will have indefinite access to the following:
Premium program curriculum (including the ones you have not yet completed)
All the code you have written on Crio
Session recordings
Access to the following resources will end after your program expires:
Access to all live sessions and 1:1 mentoring
Access to mentor support on Crio Help Centre
Online Crio workspace
You can continue to make progress on your Crio curriculum even after your program expires:
Set up VSCode on your laptops (use it instead of the online Crio workspace).
We will share instructions to set up your laptop with VSCode
You can continue to submit code for assessments, solve DSA problems and complete Crio Bytes using your laptop just like you did on the online Crio workspace.
Note: we do NOT offer any support to resolve setup issues on your laptops/local workspaces
You can purchase extended access for ₹2k/month. This will give you access to the following for a period of 30 days:
Crio workspace
Live mentor and TA sessions
1:1 mentoring
Please send us an email to request a paid extension (check footer for email addresses).
