The Continuity Planners and Recovery Management (CPARM) group is a small group committed to developing comprehensive emergency management programs for the organizations that employ us and the communities we serve.
About CPARM
Founded in 1987, CPARM is dedicated to the advancement of mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery from both private and public sector organization viewpoints, and to the enhancement of communication between the private and public sectors of emergency management and contingency planning groups. CPARM is concerned with all phases of private and public emergency management planning, and dedicated to the sharing of information and experiences in an effort to help each other.
Membership
CPARM members are contingency planning professionals. Membership is limited to approximately 30 business, public sector and non-profit organizations. CPARM’s size supports familiarity and trust. Our roster, mailing list, and email address list may not be sold nor used for marketing purposes.
Meetings & Events
Meeting sizes are kept to a size that promotes meaningful discussion. Active participation is encouraged. If an organization does not have its members at three consecutive meetings, it will be removed from the CPARM membership roster. Members are expected to respect the confidentiality of the discussions. No member may use these meetings for personal gain or for sales presentations. CPARM members meet six times a year. We ask each member to host a meeting (in rotation). It is not required that the hosting organization pay for attendees’ lunches.
